Brilliant move using clips from Adventures in Asia channel. It shows the grammar from the lesson being used in the world, and plugs an amazing channel.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: The "Silver Bells" song to get the て and た forms are the single most useful Japanese learning tip ever. I've used it so many times.✌️

Thanks for another amazing lesson, George. Just a suggestion for the next edition of book 4: It'd be great if you can add the ~なくてもいい and the ~なくてはいけない forms also in this chapter. I completed this chapter recently and was naturally curious to know if the same grammar applied to these ~なくて forms also and so had to look them up elsewhere.

This is very useful grammar and fun as well! A whole world of possibilities just opened up!

Very nice to see clips from AIA channel and George from the past. This video has a different styled thumbnail, but will it eventually have the video series style of thumbnails?
@japanesefromzero3 жыл бұрын
I'm still debating this. I'm testing new things since the videos don't get a lot of views. I'm wondering if it's my face on the thumbnail.

Exclusive 2 percenter checking in! Only other thing I'm in the top 2% of is BMI! I bought book 1 and 2 last month (had the kindle version, but e-books just aren't engaging for me) and I finally feel like I'm making progress. Words in songs and anime are popping out and I know what they mean without having to think! These videos are a really great companion to the books.

I just got to know you due to KZbin's recommended with the "Pitch accent is stupid" and Matt's answer to that video. I heard you say you've been teaching Japanese for 20 years and I got curious and wanted to see one of your videos. Loved the format, the exercises and will check out other videos to keep on learning. Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much for all these videos. I’m about to start book 2, and have been following along the whole time. Looking forward to getting to these book four videos one day! On a side note, what’s the name of the song you use with the intro? It sounds great!

Nope. 3% would be closer to 6000 views. The Zero Army is made up of just under 2% it seems.
