With that honey house you can also get into packing, not only bottling your own honey, but also buying honey from other beekeepers and packing for others.

Really happy for you on your business as all is coming together like a puzzle. Things take time and a hell of a lot of patience an planning . I know a lot of time the patience part gets gets very difficult so I just have to step back an get my head on straight. Do not remember if I had told you before but there was something my father preached to me starting back in the 60’s an I have never forgotten it. An it is so true . He said “ people has never got time to do it correctly BUT They have always got time to do it over “ . How true this has been going into my life that I have saw from people of all ages. I still say your operation would have looked better if you had built it at my house. LOL. No just picking I am also in the middle of my own project for what I need to make my operation easier an practical. Thanks for the updates.

Richard, most of us are very grateful for you sharing the challenges and successes of building a dedicated building. You have to be confident and brave even if you have the funds to invest into a ' beekeeping house'. I think you lead by example of showing that you have to be 100% focused. The rest of the comments are just envy of people extracting in their home kitchen and dreaming about a dedicated shed or garage.I have some friends farmers in Europe using EU grants and I know how tough are the rules/regulations that you have to follow to apply and keep the funds. Good luck

One day I would really look forward to speaking with you. I did say Hi at the last bee show in Telford but that was just as I walked past. @@christopherhindle1174 hi Chris, as long as their recent dead outs, usually wax moth is minimal. But if they’re dead outs early in the season it’s a nightmare. These days I’ve learnt to deal with dead outs asap to avoid that very issue

You spent the last 3+ decades earning the opportunity to do this. It's been hard work and you've probably had a lot of bad times doing it but you kept going. It's your money on the table and your cock on the block so the opinion of the naysayers means less than a snot bubble on an angry yak. Congrats on the new building and keep going.

Hopefully no one from the USA asking if you hit the lottery. Where all about building buisness.. we have grants as well but need to spend the money first and they refund you later . I think you need to sell it off move to the states start selling queens.. could smuggle us some buckfast queens so we don't have all this swarming other strains swarm to much. They closed our boarders to bees .. convicted murders they let in but no buckfast for us
