Go ahead and use the dryer sheets. You can always shine it up with a wipey at the end (although I haven't noticed that to be necessary). I line a bowl with one, pour them in, fold over and rub around, pour out. Keeps me from wanting to throw things!

Love your 50 states idea!! Doing mysteries randomly is fun. On Instagram, some of us use wheels, apps, and one person takes requests from people for what sections to reveal next. She also had a few mystery kits so followers voted on what kit she’d do next. Kept things interesting.

I would do a mystery diamond painting if I knew I'd like it. I don't want to waste time and money on something I might not like. I'd be too anxious. Maybe if I could choose a theme I'd be ok with it.

It's almost like an advent calendar. Each section you uncover is a new surprise you get to enjoy. This is an awesome idea, and maybe one day in the future I will try the same thing and get a mystery painting.

I have been loyal to you ever since I find your channel when first starting my diamond painting adventure. I have never tried a mystery diamond painting as of yet and will be intrigued to see how you get on with this one and what the landscape picture is underneath. I have recently completed a HAED diamond painting and although you see a picture of what you are doing the canvas is totally blank so in some ways they are a mystery too especially as the picture is only revealed as you work on it. I love kitting up too, I find it's cathartic and relaxing, but doing an upload and kitting I make a mess of it, I go straight to an audio book and den up.

love your set up. yes I've done 3 mystery kits. love them and have two more to do. I didn't have any issues. I liked seeing come alive. yes, all sq, because background is white. static - I dip ball part of finger in powder (baby) and tap off and rub around inside bag and shake bag. have fun working it. . I tape as I go cause I hate the washi lifts. Been to the end cause I'm a royal watcher - even if I don't always comment. hugs Billie

Hi Gracie. I did a DIY Moonshop Mystery painting a while ago. I had a yearning to do a mystery and found that it took a good deal of concentration. I think that DAC rendering looks much better and I can see why people are loyal to the company. I was very happy with the result but now I feel like my itch has been scratched. Maybe sometime I might do another one - who knows. I am presently doing a custom painting and Diamond Dotz rendered it. I am adding AB’s and upchanging parts. It is very sparkly and happy with the results so far. As for the static, instead of blowing into the bags, try breathing. It is the moisture that settles the drills.

I did a nature Mystery this year and was truely intrigued throughout the whole painting. After a bit you know what to expect, but there were still elements along the way that didn't reveal themselves until I'd step back. Not something I'd make a habit of, but would consider doing another some day. Also - my dad would say "don't BOOGER it up" all the time!

When I got my HUGE 420 bottle ArtDot case, took most a day to do stickers, organize which kits go in by small to huge, got 16 color color coded and in place, got a few complete, makes it so much faster to get the correct drill bottles, put them in plastic baskets, get moving, this mystery canvas is burning me with curiosity lol

I am working on five or six diamond paintings at the same time. I pick one one day and another the other day. Plus I am diamond painting christmas cards. I have two diamond paintings I want to kit up. I can't do it because it would be to many. Besides I am also working on my next book.

I found that some colours of drills are more static than other colours. It's odd.Hihi one of cats, Majo, keeps bumping my tablet. He loves cuddling with us.

Mystery kits are square so the white canvas doesn't show through the gaps of rounds. I would assume that conversions are the same.
