OMG, one of the BEST uke teachers on KZbin right now. SOMEONE, finally that teaches timing / strumming in his videos as it relates to the song / chords. I actually think i can now learn how to strum and change chords at the same time now. As far as i know (or maybe i just have not found it yet) this guy is the only person that teaches the EXACT number of strums along with the songs. When I was newbie, I played this song by using all Down Strum and I wasn't satisfied myself. Now I've been playing for 10 months (but not everyday day 😉), I can do play along with you and feel like the song's become more sad. That's the flavor. Thank you 😘 so much for making this tutorial. Really great video. I'm almost there after watching twice. I personally had to note the lyrics and then put the chords at the top w the number of times (e.g. 4x F, 2x Em7, 2x A7, 3x Dm, 1C). This sounds lovely. Thanks very much.

@AllForUke Great tutorial. Broken down well and very easy to follow along with. The only suggestion I have is at the last playthrough when you have the lyrics with the chord letters above them maybe have the tab for the chord being played off to the side to remind us how to play the chord. Sometimes I forget some of them so I have to either write them down or go back in the video to remind myself, which granted isnt hard to do but it would be a big help if I could just look over real quick so I dont have to break the rhythm. Just something small and in no way takes away from how simple and helpful this tutorial is. Thank you so much for taking the time to make these, I really appreciate it.

Hey! New Uke player here. First of all I would like to say that I really enjoy your lessons. What I would like to see is a little number on how many strokes on each chord when you have them lined up on the bottom of the screen during the play along - segmented and whole. That would make it easier to follow along when you try to focus on the chords and may forget how many times you want one to stroked. (Did that make sense to you?) Hey Kevin! As always, you are an amazing beginner teacher! One thing I noticed is that you used to put the number of times a note was played on the screen (maybe below the note?) You mostly count it out here, and I pause the video and write it down, and that’s fine. Probably even an excellent motor skills connection- but I also loved just seeing it on the screen… So, take that as a note, or not. Either way, I continue to be a big fan!
