First off, Eric is hilarious and his enthusiasm is contagious, love watching everything he’s in. As for his trip, it was incredible, and as a surfer it was so cool seeing him meet JOB and ride the SUP Squatch at Pipe! I can only imagine how epic that was for him. BUT, TD’s trip on the other hand was filled with discomfort and rejection. TD had to truly push through for the yes and seek discomfort for a longer period of time at the airport. What’s more he figured out a way to still win! That’s awesome absolutely love to see it!

I feel like both trips capture the Yes Theory/Seek Discomfort energy in totally opposite ways. For Eric, he received a freakishly lucky single act of huge generosity from one person who said yes and believed in adventure, and had a very glamorous experience and made friends to party with and did high energy stuff. But Tommy showed perservering through complications and talked to and got advice from and connected with so many people in the airport and through small humble acts of generosity was able to achieve the adventure, and had a more laid back emotional connection experience. For me Tommy's is the winner! But they're both fantastic experiences and so cool and inspiring.
@MementoVivere.2 жыл бұрын
I’m going to say Eric for very different reasons that everyone else. To me his trip was almost MORE magical than Tommy’s because it’s often the people we know nothing about that change our days or deliver life changing news, and do it simply out of just being human. The guy that Venmoed that money was so distant from his experience but created the entire thing. To me that’s special. It reminded me that sometimes we have no clue how what may seem like a tiny impact to us could end up inspiring millions of people.

Eric did something i believe in 100%. Manifesting your destiny whether big or small can bring great outcomes into your life and the life's of others. He was able to meet a kind stranger who had that gut feeling, he had the money and wanted to make Eric's dream of going to Hawaii come true. While Eric's trip was amazing the true purpose of today's video was the kindness of so many strangers, who might not have alot to offer, but all come together in the end to achieve something beyond them. This illustrates the power of kindness and what in can achieve when we all come together on anything we set our hearts to do

I think they both won. Eric for his stroke of luck and fun in Hawai’i, and Tommy for his longer challenge filled with more connections at the airport

This really kinda hit me like life. As an introvert myself, felt and related to tommy throughout the entire episode. Sometimes things in life just workout somehow and sometimes, you have to go through a lot of failures and sadness while patiently trying to wait but you just need to find those right people helping you go into that right direction.

Your videos always give me hope knowing that there are people out there in other countries around the world who are kind and generous and adventurous like these people nobody had to give or send you money but out of the kindness of their hearts they wanted to help out a stranger and see a genuine smile making someone's day better. Thank you so much for everything you do Yes crew!

I thought Tommy's was really nice, since it shows the kindness of people through multiple strangers coming together and donating towards his flight ticket.

I have to say Eric’s trip was my favorite. He manifested what he wanted and had an epic time!

let’s be real, they both had the better trip lol. they got their flights paid for and better yet maid genuine friends who they will most likely continue talking to forever. genuine friendship surpasses anything in my book
@Spunklyy2 жыл бұрын
I’d say Tommy had the better trip, just for the mere fact that he met multiple people that were willing to chip in for his ticket. Multiple kind hearted people that are so willing to help out a stranger. Even if it is just for a video concept. Of course you can meet that once in a lifetime person as Eric did, but as far as the experience, the story to getting to the place you were able to get to; I’m going to have to go with Tommy.

Eric having the time of his life there 😂 Robert is the GOAT! Who randomly gives 1500 to a stranger?!

Probably someone who goes to vegas. I mean he probably makes either a) a fuck ton of money to throw around from somewhere or b) makes a fuck ton from gambling

Yes Theory seems to hit the exact spot I feel I'm missing in my worst moments. They reminds me good is out there, and that I need to keep hustling and grinding so I can be the help others need. God bless you all my brothers, Thank you for all you've done for me and this world:)

You can learn so much about the mindset of Eric. Him manifesting his trip to Hawaii was just such a good example of good manifesting.

You guys honestly show that there is so much more to life with human connections and just getting out of our comfort zone. I know I have troubles with just like talking with my thoughts, suicide thoughts and how to deal with them. But after watching your guys videos honestly make everything feel so much better just how you can connect with everyone no matter what colour or believes it's amazing. Thank you x

I never comment. But this is the most inspiring video I have seen in many years. The message of seeking discomfort is huge and powerful, but in this video I really saw the humanity in every single person. From 5-15,000 dólares, it shows how no one is a stranger, just friends that haven’t meet yet. When the guy from Ukrainian gave money to tommy I just cried. That’s humanity, helping each other out, being there for one another and no matter what is happening in your life, always listen and help. You guys are amazing!

Would be a 👎 video with wasted kindness of people and unnecessary air travel (even with offset) until Thomas reflected and chatted with the Ukraine guy. I love Thomas so so much, what a sensitive guy with a kind soul ❤️

I have found that people with the least give so much more than wealthy because we know how hard it is to have nothing and it's such a great feeling to be as generous as you can.

Eric’s train guy shots are hilarious. I’m so so glad he’s a front man in an adventure and not just a tag along. He has such an amazing spirit and personality and it’s so amazing to see.

Definitely Tommy, he was struggling the first day but managed to devise a plan that doesn't seem possible with delirium by the way and got himself to Costa Rica, I think also with struggling he managed to meet some great people with amazing stories like the two guys that chilled next to him on the airport floor for the night, and especially the man from Ukraine who was so sweet and kind for giving the most when he probably had the least. Always a lesson with these crazy videos.

I was at Gatwick airport back in 2006. For whatever reason, the flight left 40 minutes early. I was already travelling 3 hours prior to the boarding time. I didn't see the notification as it was last minute as I was travelling. There were a lot of angry people in that queue that missed their flight. I couldn't afford another flight, and I protested to get another one the next morning, which they agreed to, as previously they told me to buy a new ticket. Ryanair are a terrible airliner. But, there was a family. Husband and wife, a baby and a young child of probably 4 years old. The airliner were unsympathetic and refused to help them, They couldn't afford to stay at the hotel or pay for a new flight. I saw another desk for another airliner open up nearby, and even the other side an airline desk for another airliner opened up. I saw an opportunity to speak out in defence of that poor family and shamed Ryanair for creating a problem and then expecting a mother with a newborn baby to sleep on the floor. I was told to shut up, I just talked louder and appealed to the security and asked if he had kids. He nodded and just stood there looking towards the Ryanair team in disgust. They soon came and offered to pay for the family to stay in the hotel and gave them a new ticket for the next day. I was more than happy to sleep on the floor knowing I had helped that family. I never flew Ryanair again. Always remember, there are still good people out there that will help you in some way, you just have to find them.

I'm still in shock that he got 1500. But Tommy wins in my eyes the amount of people he spoke too and the connections he made seems like an obvious win. C:

This teaches you to never give up. Also, some ppl have life easier than some but that doesn't mean that you can't win in the end if your life is harder.
