@Mozart-Amadeus-fm Unfortunately most Russians don't oppose their goverment and ~20% of them are hardcore supporters of all it does, especially the war. Probably more, if you actually talk with them on social media, Chatrulet etc. That's not to say they are "bad people", just mostly brainwashed into oblivion, same as Germans in '30s. And change of heart took at least a generation for Germans, who only lived in Goebbelesque black-propaganda for a few decades. Russians have been living in their "own special truth" one way or another since USSR, with the only time without the imperialist top-down psyops during the most chaotic (and for most destitute) time starting from Glasnostj and into the '90s. There is a serious problem with that, which will take longer to resolve than for Nazi Germany. Assuming they want to resolve it. If you want to get to know some people and first sources, you have to communicate with them directly.

I am from Romania and my friend had a free apartment in Brasov and she's housing two families with 3 children. They are so humble, you wouldn't believe. Every friend of mine donated something for the refugees. Even though one of them is in huge debt, she went to the supermarket and bought some things to donate. You guys are just.. Goals! This made me so emotional. Just hearing the stories of the people coming from Ukraine just makes it all so real. I can not imagine what they have been going through and are still going through. I feel so helpless, because I can't be there for their support. It just feels like not doing enough "just" donating money or goods they need, but I am happy to know that the money is going exactly where its needed. Thank you guys so much for all the support you have given through this. And thank you to the whole team thats still in Poland, continuing to help.
