Thanks for sharing this. I'm in the market for an argon flow regulator and was going to spend $90.00 at another store. This change my mind.

I have only done flux cored welding and I am looking into switching to mig. I noticed there was either an argon scale and a co2 scale. Which scale (the argon side or the co2 side) do you use if you are going to use c25 gas. Thank you
@WeldYouLookAtThat6 ай бұрын
@turbolightosb there is only about less than a centimeters of difference between the two sides. So if it's a weld that isn't going to be subject to high vibrations or subject to high stress, I just eyeball it around 15 cfh. If it's a crucial weld, I crank it up between 25 to 30 cfh just to be sure I have enough coverage. I recommend this type of regulator for around the house and diy welding. But if it's a job that has a WPS (welding procedure specification) where they tell you the exact amount of gas you need to be running, I would get a higher quality dial type guage where you can read the exact readout. But it sounds like you don't need that. I try to bring my subscribers the highest quality product for the lowest possible price for farm welding, diy welding, or beginners that are learning in their garage.

What do I spray my connections with?
@WeldYouLookAtThat18 күн бұрын
@BeastBot427 about 8 drops of dish soap and warm water in a spray bottle. You want the water real soapy so when you spray your connections it foams really bad if there is a leak.

is your tank a cga 580? i can only get a tank thats a cga 320 washer, so im assuming i need an adapter
@WeldYouLookAtThat4 ай бұрын
Yes you are correct. A 580 tank is for inert gases or inert gas MIX. Like argon, argon/co2, helium...and so on. If you have a cga 320 tank, that is specifically for co2 only, and the regulator is totally different. Even tho you can weld with straight co2, this tanks are more commonly used in draft beer or soda machines.
