Do you get bothered when the string is long? Because I feel like it slows me down because I have to pull and pull and it gets tangled. But if I put like tape on it or something it also slows me down so do you have any tips so the string isn’t incredibly long but so I still don’t run out? Also I love your channel your amazing
@Craftanatic3 жыл бұрын
Thank you! 😊 I do get VERY annoyed by longer strings especially when they get tangled, but I think I’ve just been able to find a good rhythm over the years and kind of comb my fingers through my strings as I make knots so that I can avoid any tangling. I am also figuring out just how much string I need to use depending on the pattern and it really doesn’t need to be as long as people say. (I do have smaller wrists, though, so mileage varies on that.) Practice is going to be ideal in almost every case!

Great tutorial but I don't understand how to do the rest of the bracelett when only a small portion (start) is shown hear. Does it simply repeat? I have tried looking at the written pattern which makes sense but it is difficult trying to differentiate one row to the next & getting in knots.....Literally! Perhaps I am just thick!
@Craftanatic Жыл бұрын
Yes the pattern does repeat so you can just play the video over again and follow the steps again. It can definitely be tricky to follow again though when the colors are in different orders so it really helps to have the pattern pulled up while you work too! Other than that it just takes a lot of practice. 😊

I think that knotting on the right side AFTER you finished one part of the design on the left side is a waste of time, I prefer mirroring everything while I go :)

Definitely! You would just have to add in an extra step each time. Though, if you’re interested in a specific pattern I’m not sure which one it’d be! But I’m sure there is one out there. 😁

Would this look messed up if I used color changing thread?
@Craftanatic4 жыл бұрын
Nishka I don’t think it would at all! If you had a solid color separating each of them in the pattern (if that makes sense), I bet it would look SO interesting!
@cantdothis68994 жыл бұрын
Craftanatic thanks for the quick reply! Do u mean like a different tie dye string for every “color”
@Craftanatic4 жыл бұрын
Nishka Not exactly, I was wondering if you could have them alternating with this pattern. Like #33531 on braceletbook just as an example, the light pink would be all the tie-dye strings, then the dark pink would be a color that sort of borders each one. But you would use it on this pattern. :)
@cantdothis68994 жыл бұрын
Craftanatic o I see! So only using 2 colors then right, the tie dye and 1 solid color?
@Craftanatic4 жыл бұрын
Nishka Yeah, exactly what I’m thinking!
@josipavidackovic41403 жыл бұрын
Would this still work if I added 2 more colours?
@Craftanatic3 жыл бұрын
I just replied to your comment that you deleted, but yes it would-you would just have to do extra steps each row. It’s hard to explain, but I’m positive Braceletbook has a 16-string version.
