I totally agree! These kind of heavy 2.5” cinewhoops are totally worthless for me. And because of this I was planning to take a 3” toothpick, put superlight 3”propguards, and use it with a naked vista and a naked Gopro. The result is a superlight 3”, very silent, with amazing quality footage. (I know Albert Kim did something like that 2-3 years ago). Another option is the Xdrei frame from a German company. Bardwell reviewed it a while ago, but I would love to know what you think about it!

Hey Rimzler! Great video. I definetely agree with you here! There is no need for two basically exact replica drones. I prefer the Cinelog 25 over the Cinebot25, dont know why yet, but i like it more probably of the soft mount for Gopro I would like to see a comparison of those two! The Problem you mentioned is my Problem right now. I want the best price as well as the best quality i can get but it should have a O3 and be able to carry a naked go pro and still be sub250 I dont have the problem to build it myself, already build 5" and so on. Would you suggest to like buy the parts seperatly and look to manage to stay under 250g also it would be cheaper to do so right? To clarify it: i would buy the parts of the cinelog 25 or 20 (Frame, O3, ...) and built it myself maybe change the FC to a better one or the Motors like on Cinebot25, but still it would be super hard to stay below 250grams, but i would be cheaper in that case Do you think that is a good idea and will work out? and if not some other opportunities? Greetings from Germany!
@Rimzler9 ай бұрын
The issue is that at the moment I have not seen a 2.5 doing both o3 good and being sub250 with a GoPro... Even if you build yourself is going to be incredibly hard But like the old cinelog25 has no problem with caddx vista and naked GoPro, don't know why they are raising the weight so much... Well I know many brands watch this videos so hope some picks up the message and delivers what we all need ahahah Otherwise I need to start my own brand to make stuff happen ahahahah

Good review! The way I see it, between the Cinelog 25 and this new Cinebot 25, this one has a completely new design and construction philosophy. Just like the GepRC Darkstar 20, it uses the least amount of injection molded parts for rock-steady flying, light weight and most importantly, durability. Darkstar 20 has zero carbon in it... it's just an injection molded plastic frame and it's tough as nails. This new Cinebot 25 will be infinitely more durable than the Cinelog series. The Cinelog 20, Cinelog 25, and Cinelog 25 V2 all suffer from a somewhat weak duct design, due to the material used and the inability to dissipate energy to the entire frame, like in this new Cinebot 25 and the existing Darkstar 20. I have the Darkstar 20 and it just bounces off the wall or the ground like a tennis ball. It's so durable, it's ridiculous! Of course, being as light as it is, it has a huge advantage in lack of mass as well, which also helps the durablity. But back to the Cinebot 25. It would seem that GepRC have embraced injection molding since the Darkstar 20 and they are using that same advantage in this Cinebot 25 as well, wth the addition of a carbon top plate. They've strealined their design and construction process and I expect we'll see more and more injection molded models from them replacing the older models one by one.
@Rimzler9 ай бұрын
Yes ahahaha they probably bought some injection molding machinery and are having fun with it! I'm all for lighter and more resistant drones! This cinebot is very fine The darkstar has a tiny bit of jello in my tests, something I didn't expect from Geprc as they always are on point with their drones! Hope they release a lighter 2.5 inch at some point, but with no jello😂
