Making incense is a hobby of mine! I like doing blends that have to do with the working that I'm doing at that time. It really makes you learn your herbs and resins!!

I love to burn Golden Champa, cedar, sage and sweet grass. Copal is my fav resin, it leaves a tone in the space that resonates with me. Oh, that’s a pun!!

I love to burn resins (frankincense, copal, myrrh), Palo Santo, herbs (mugwort, cedar, tobacco, etc ) over charcoal. I also love stick incense like Nag Champa or Superhit. I don't like cones, they burn too quickly to me. I must try DOOP and Senegalese Thiouraye soon. I have a sage bundle that I have never used that I have had for several years. Thanks for this video! ❤️🤗

I have many, sage, cinnamon, sandalwood, peppermint, musk, Palo santo, forest, rain are my common for every day. I enjoy exploring for new scents for everyday and manifestation work.

Interestingly, you added the resin to the charcoal and I swear immediately I smelt the incense, even through my blocked sinuses. I don't know, but I think it was magical.

My favorite is Shoyeido "Moss Garden" incense! It's stick incense, but constructed more like the hard dhoop.

I never knew that those resins were burnable. Always just used them in drawers and closets to keep the energy from staying too stale.

I was always told Palo santo was to be used for removing negative energy. So it's not used for that. Good to know

I learned something new about Palo calling in energy, not banishing negative energy. Thank you. I, like you, really like the smell of burning Palo. I actually can't stand the smell of burning sage. But I can take Palo all day. 😁

I burn frankensence and myrrh resin on charcoal. I also bring dried herbs to burn as incense. I also burn bakhoor.

Thank you for showing how to do it using charcoal and resin. I had no idea how to use mines. Thank you. I love trying out different incense and scent burning materials to see which fits. I still stick with the sticks. Just quicker and lasts pretty long.

I learned from visiting hookah bars to use a little counter electric burner/hot plate to start up your charcoal , I have one reserved only for lighting incense charcoal
