There is a huge difference in mileage. Though Meteor has a bigger engine, it's mileage is around 35-40 kms where as Yezdi mileage is below 30 kms. One more point is that the engine used in Yezdi is same as Jawa Perek.

What about drivablity and gear shifting in city driving.. I took a testdrive of scrambler ane noticed the rev is so good and the pickup is damn good, but when i slow down the vehicle i have to come to 1st gear which i feel its not good. Not sure its the same with Roadster tuning.

The Yezdi roadster has also a chrome version with big windshield. The meteor has a 140 section tyre, not a 150 one. The meteor provides more mileage than the roadster.

hello? Do you think of ola might have given a smaller battery than they have actually claimed(3.9 kWh)? A method to test this would be to get a electricity meter which you could get for less than a thousand rupees and charge it from 0 to 100% and record the kWh consumed. A lithium battery is almost 95% efficient. For example , if the meter shows 4 kwh energy consumed, 95% would be 3.8 kWh. So the actual battery capacity would be 3.8 kWh. Please do this test if possible.

Unfortunately, when the scooter says the battery is empty, it's not empty. There's still some juice left but the scooter can't draw enough current from it. So in this test, battery capacity will always come lower than stated by manufacturer.

Cb350 hands down. It has better build quality, better equipment, better sound, better refinement and mileage. Only drawback is that it looks like a splendor and is sold exclusively in bigwing showrooms.

After doing the test ride of meteor, CB350 and thereafter the roadster, not sure whether they are even comparable at all. Roadster can probably be compared with jawa 42 and not with the other two simply based on quality levels. Based on design, yes roadster and jawa look good. But if you look into quality, performance, refinement and fit and finish, both fall far behind. The gears of roadster are clunky and not at all smooth. I went to the showroom with a lot of hopes from roadster coz I wanted something different from cb 350 and meteor. But beyond design, it did not meet expectations at all.

@@PradeeponWheels I also have experienced this during a short test ride. The engine is not as refined as Meteor and neither its gear changes. Pl note that Yezdi's have higher compression ratio than Meteor and the big radiator would emit more hot air on to the legs than Meteor. Looking forward to Hunter which probably would offer neutral footage position for easy maneuverability in City rides.
