Yfz450 hybrid update

I don’t own the rights to the music!!
Small update on the yfz450/yz250 hybrid project of mine . Since the last upload I have added a LSR tubular subframe and a Apex technologies Head with interchangeable domes . Took it out for some testing the end of this summer . Have some parts stacking up for it . Let me know what you guys want to see in the videos .

Doing the same build and wondering about the swing arm did you have to modify it or did you completely buy a different swing arm?

The swing arm will need to be modified either way . I used a lsr steel +2 swing arm on this build .

@@Lynxhmob702I used the factory yz250 castle part or hub with the splines and re-machined a yz450f forged lever to fit .

I know it’s been about a year, but what about a trx400ex fame with a yz250 block? Any thoughts?

I’m sure it’s possible but the carb figment around the rear shock will be rather tight .

@@natejones3803 figured it out the hard way, it’s the chassis that’ll block the air filter boot. Runs great tho 😂

It’s not any worse then the 450’s .

Just bought a yz250 motor. Hopefully I will start working on it this winter or next year. I was thinking of using a couple of rubber bushings on the head mount to minimize the vibration further
