This archetype needs some op spell cards other than new xyz monsters. Something like this. - "Gimmick puppet monsters you control are unaffected by your opponent's card effects. - Draw cards equal to the number of string counters on the field (maybe this one is to stronk 😂. Needs some limitations to avoid strange combos)

Stardust Motivation the last one is fine. There isnt an efficient way to put more then a few string counters on board and a lot of the advantage they would gain would be empty advantage they couldnt use till next turn and is in no way a game changer. Well done. Personally i think they need a good going first play with some actual negates or interuption.

Seeing as how Strings is a generic rank 8, yeah, that draw card might be a _little_ overpowered. There's that, and a protection spell would be kinda redundant if they had an XYZ that just had it's own protection. I say they just need better boss monsters, and maybe a main deck monster that searches Rank-Up Magics or something.

@@stardustvideo Just a Rank-Up wouldn't really do anything. They'd need that, and a way to search it. Otherwise they'd just be rank 8 Raidraptors, pre-Wise Strix.

I found way more success with the orcust engine since it gives you more recursion, field control, a way to search every gimmick puppet monster worth running and link arrows than running a pure build.

Nice deck but it lacks draw power maybe replace effect veiler with Maxx c also would orcust work with this too. Maybe add a rank up barian or quick chaos to use choas strings. Is it possible to make an orcust gimmick puppet deck. :) Kinda hate that giant grinder doesn't deal damage like volcasaurs only if the monster that it targets is an xyz.
