From a LC owner, get the LC. - it retains value extremely well. - it sounds amazing. - it feels special without being fragile or precious. - it draws minimal attention for what it is, it’s a IYKYK type car. - it’s over engineered in the best way possible. If you ever work on the suspension or drivetrain, the LC build is insane, forged and cast aluminum throughout and the fit and finish is amazing. - it has the best interior of any class sub 200k. Someone in the comments said it’s ‘fake Luxury’ and cannot compare with Range Rover or Porsche. That’s the biggest farce I’ve ever heard. The interior is all wrapped in leather, the volume is cast aluminum, the shift paddles are cast magnesium. It’s literally Bentley level finish, if not better. The stitching, the leather, the seams, and fit is so tight and tolerances are crazy at this price point. To say it’s fake luxury is insanity, just because it doesn’t have RGB hooka lounge lighting or stupid gimmicks does not make it any less luxurious.

Had my LC500 Structural Blue Edition for about 3 months, soulful NA V8, 30 mpg cruise, bellowing exhaust note if you open the taps, plenty of snap crackle and pop if you play the paddles and built like a bank vault with a bottomless warranty. Properly snaps heads, and in 3 months I have seen only two others on the road.

Lets be honest, the Lexus LC is not a good sports car. It does not handle as well as other cars on the list, it's heavy, it lacks what a lotta people want in a nice sports car. But the thing is that Lexus does not care about all those other cars. It's not trying to be a sports car, nor is it trying to beat one. It's something you sit in, quiet & serene, extremely well built interior, and just enjoy the music of that NA V8. It literally defines Grand Tourer for you. It can be something you drive daily or something you can drive across the country in, or have a lil fun on the back roads. It gives you what you need, not what you want. LC500 takes my vote any day of the week.

Hi all, I’m 59, I love cars and have always loved, as someone who appreciates the design and build of each one, looking at and enjoying them. I’ve had similar experiences at many car dealerships, both ignored and made to feel welcome. I have never been able to put my finger on why this is. Whether you have an appointment or are just browsing it shouldn’t make any difference, at the end of the day buying a car is, or can be, a big decision and we should be made to feel welcome the minute we set foot in the door. Aside from the independents the majority of big brand Car dealerships are just franchises. Buying a car should be like buying Aftershave or perfume from that big department store on Oxford St, you should be made to feel welcome within a couple of minutes of walking in and then looked after. If a salesperson goes up to a customer and asks what they are looking for, why they need a car, asking if they want to test drive etc, it can put pressure on the buyer (they might just want to explore and look themselves.) whereas if the buyer needs help, they will reach out to the salespeople themselves in their own time, making the whole process easier.

You get a good M3 comp for 80k, the new M3 is probably the best daily as it’s 4 wheel drive with option to switch to rear wheel drive, tech is on point, looks good, fast as hell, just a really good all rounder, they also make them as an estate, tommy had one for a while

Hey Yianni, I think the Porsche suits you best (especially the Targa has the advantage of a folding roof). They also treated you at the level that you yourself expect. I would also place Mercedes in fifth place. You could fit the C43/C63 AMG, GLC43/63 AMG or the mentioned CLE53 AMG into that price tag. Now it's up to you.

Lexus is a no brainer, literally 90% of the comments recommend Lexus. but i guess cus the badge and the brand name matters so much to Yianni he'd probably skip it. In terms of design, style, sportiness, luxury, comfort, reliable, low maintenance, ease of mind, Nothing beat a Lexus aka Toyota. the perfect blend between Exotic and Luxury, Comfort and Sport, Cheap yet Valuable. in Asia, LEXUS IS KING 👑

If Yianni is interested in the Lexus LC500 as his top pick, the sales representative should’ve at least mentioned the Lexus RC F. It has everything which the LC500 has but there’s the option for the panoramic roof. - 5 litre V8 - 450+ BHP - Under £80,000 Should’ve at least come into consideration. But who knows, there could be some reason why it wasn’t mentioned.

Yianni I suggest looking at Cupra. Can't go wrong! Pops and bangs. Facelift model is out. Very fun car to drive, economic, fast, drift mode and cupra mode available, launch control, low insurance and roadtax. Absolute smoker!!!
