Thats what happend to me. I was at level 99 and my parents told me to go to the table to eat my dinner, but i didnt want to. So my mom pulled the cable and it was "game over". After that the game never started again. Game was not functioning anymore.

I blamed my mom for years and years that i thought i could have made it to the end game. seeing that after level 99 you will have to start all over again (except the points will remain) my mom was right ^^. But dont tell her that.

И мне)) А потом я серьёзно взялся и проходил одну серию комнат за другой, пока не надоело. Даже умудрялся отбивать цепь. Потом только комнаты цвет менять будут, концовки нет. В игре есть лазейка, чтобы просто побеждать: нужно прыгать без удара влево вправо в самом спрайте противника, он начинает туда сюда кататься по экрану, в это время бьем его обычными ударами, сначала навстречу, затем развернувшись в спину, потом вновь просто прыгаем в спрайт.

I used to play this at my friend's place who owned an MSX. I have to say it's satisfying to see these enemies have the sh*t kicked out of them, because the stress of having them do so to me, game after game, is still engraved upon my soul. Also, I love the music, it's one of my staples on guitar and keys.

I would say Lang was meant to be the more feminine name 蘭 (Lan), since 郎/Lang is masculine... and the character is a woman. Don't forget that many of the names in this game so not take consideration of modern Chinese romanization (i.e. Lee for Li/李, Yie Ar Kung Fu for Yi'er Gongfu/一二・功夫). So for all we know, Tao may be Dao/刀 or 道.

First! With that out of the way, I didn't know the Famicom had a port of this game, so it was good to see this pre-Street Fighter 1 game again. Sure looks like you have to have some frame-perfect strats to score a hit in this port though. Not used to seeing the copyright notice in the gameplay itself; that's something I've only seen in some of Activision's games on the Atari 2600.

The enemies move so much quicker compared to the MSX version, and Lee does 6 "celebration" moves after winning instead of 5. Also the health bars are in a different spot, and Lee's action sounds are 'muffled'.

Когда из свежака у тебя только один картридж с этой игрой и бильярдом LunnerBall, а Марио и танчики уже настоп..здили так, что даже на картридж смотреть не хочешь, то приходилось совершенствоваться в кунг--фу. Когда прохавал всю физику игры то даже скучно было, а сейчас наверное сяду - меня первый же враг вынесет)
