That's cause this is a remix of a song from "VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartending Action." The composer for both that game and Yuppie Psycho is the same: Garoad. Pretty good stuff, I say!

It's a generic battle theme from late-game, IIRC. During the chapter that takes place during December, with the Persona-esque calendar system, I think. I could be wrong. It's been two years since I watched my brother play through YIIK. But regardless, I'm pretty sure it's for random encounters.
