This fall yin yoga practice will help you let go of stuck emotions in your body, and balance vata dosha (air /space /wind). The fall equinox is a time when we begin to let go of the past cycle and turn our energies inward. This yin practice will calm and soothe your mind, and help you digest emotions that you need to release in order to move forward. We'll focus on apana vayu, which is the downward and outward movement of energy. Yin postures will compress the lower digestive system and balance vata dosha to help you feel grounded in your body and mind.
