I did this asanas with u after finishing class in 20 mins I was asleep and deep sleep love to do all what u teach u have been a blessing ❣️ lucky to come across your channel

Didn't actually do this session for insomnia, I've done it for anxiety, and Aprille, it has worked really well! I'm sure I'll get a good night's sleep too!

I feel so calm and cool in my body after that. I especially loved the last pose before shavasana with the blanket under neath the shoulder blades. Thank you 🙏

I echo Melissa's comments. Insomnia and I are at a crossroads. Thanks for that relaxed voice. I am heading for a walk by the sea. Then early to bed as soon as the sun sets.

Having chronic insomnia for years but sleeping even less with all that is going on in our world. This really rejuvenated me! Glad to have had the rest & will use some of the poses at night when cannot fall back to sleep! Another wonderful practice Aprille!🥰🦋

It can be really hard to settle in and get some rest especially with the current events. I am so glad to hear this is helping and definitely try some of the poses right before bed. I have a few Yin and Restorative classes for bedtime too as well as highly recommend the Yoga Nidra meditations to help you settle, relax and sleep. Thank you for joining me and have a great day! Dear Aprille, the last two weeks I saw and practised with your video’s. Thank you very much, I really love it! My body feels better, my mind is calmer, I have more peace and patience. Most of the time I practise in the morning but after a busy day and a little of a mental break down, I did this video. I can’t explain how it really helps me, thank you very very much. The Yoga Ranger Studio {Aprille Walker} Oh, wow. So here's how effective this video is. I thought I'd venture out and try something new (nothing to do with any lack on your part here), and straight away, I was having concerns simply due to the sound of voice, style of speaking (inflections), and music, but I was resistant to stop it and start over with yours, as it was already so late. Plus, I kept waiting for things to improve or for me to get accustomed. Here's the thing: I HAD A HORRIBLE "SLEEP." Insomnia, interrupted, tossing around, anxiety, yada yada yada...In total, I think I got mayyybe only 4 hours. I even tried listening to a meditation. When that didn't work, I went to my old standby: beta beats. I had a headache upon finally "awakening." Was I ever really asleep? Rhetorical. As my husband had even said, "If it's not broken, don't fix it." I didn't listen to him, surprise surprise. ANYway, I wrote this more as a review and for others to grasp the true effectiveness of your video than a simple vent. Sorry if it's come out that way. And tonight, I'm going back to yours, my new pre-bedtime standby. :-)

Thank you! Iyengar is a very unique style that requires 10 years of training. While I use his book Light on Yoga and was trained by 2 teachers who are Iyengar trained, I cannot claim to be so without the official training. Many of my slow flow classes with longer hold times as well as Restorative yoga are based on the Iyengar style though. Alignment, longer breath centered holds are very much Iyengar based. I do have a few Hatha style classes and will continue to offer more as I like longer strength building holds. Does that answer your question okay? 🙂
