Thanks, Aprille. You're right---so few yoga sessions focus on neglected body parts, like wrists. I don't do repetitive activities per se, but do spend some time cooking and being on the computer and just living, so it's always good to give some loving attention to them. Thanks for the prompts not to pull on your head for the neck stretch. That's exactly what I was doing as you said not to! And I tried to release and just give it some weight, not pull, but it was almost difficult for me to release it---like that I was determined to really stretch and yes, pull. Don't know how to stop this habit/inclination. It's like I'm still being kinda yang in the midst of a yin practice! Guess that's why it is a practice and has to be done daily....
@YogaRangerStudio5 жыл бұрын
You are welcome Ellen! I know what you mean about pulling - it's something I had to work hard not to do for such a long time. I think years of being a gym person and being told to push to the limit and go further really settles in and it takes a great deal of attention to stop that. This applies to SO much too! Glad you enjoyed this one and I hope you are still enjoying classes at your local gym? How are you doing lately? Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Peace, Aprille

Thank you so much for what you do, I just discovered your channel and I am IN LOVE! Thank you. I appreciate you. 🙏❤

Thank you so much for this practice Aprille, I will definitely come back to this! I am left handed and wake up most mornings with a sore arm and pins and needles in my fingers! Can you point me in the right direction to help relieve these symptoms? Thank you in advance! Namaste Aprille, have a brilliant day! ❤️
@YogaRangerStudio5 жыл бұрын
You are welcome Linda and I am glad you enjoyed it! Is it just after you wake up or any other time during the day? I find that when I sleep on my side or compress my shoulder in any way, I wake up similarly. It can also happen when the arm is above the shoulder so taking the arms down lower below shoulder height can help. I have poor circulation in my fingertips so if my hand is raised even slightly above my hips (lying on my back or side), I have a lot of pins and needles as well and some loss of feeling at the tips. Try a few different positions with extra pillows and see if you can find the position that might be impinging on a nerve. Let me know what you discover and I hope this helps! Have a great weekend! Peace, Aprille

I'm doing your 7 day yin immersion right now, it's great! 2 questions: have you ever thought of making a 7 or 30 day journey? And secondly, is there a reason why you always ask us to lay down on our right side in fetal position? Thanks ❤
@YogaRangerStudio18 күн бұрын
I am so glad to hear you are enjoying it as this is my 7 day Yin journey offering. As for 30 days - I release a monthly themed calendar each month which you can access either at theyogaranger.vhx.tv OR kzbin.info/door/COOToZSV4lDrbmGXu96ySgjoin . Both locations offer calendars which are downloadable and have direct links and are specifically curated for the theme and the season/time of year. At the first option, the monthly calendar comes with journal/reflection questions each month as well to help people dive deeper into the theme. I recommend lying on the right side as this helps regulate and normalize blood pressure so that when you come back up, you won't have a dizzy effect and it will help your blood pressure not spike. It is commonly used in hospitals by nurses and after surgery to help normalize blood pressure. Thanks for joining me!
