Is that why tens of thoudsnds of people try to leave the country behind every year?
@user-tb8il8og6t4 ай бұрын
@@MD77248 Is that a lot relative to a population of 1.4 billion? Isn’t it normal to immigrate for various reasons? Even the number of wealthy Europeans who left their home countries to immigrate to other countries is no less than that of the Chinese, while the total population of Europe is far smaller than that of China. There are also many people who give up their American citizenship and choose other countries. There was even a Gallup poll in which as many as 15% of Americans said they wanted to leave the country permanently. Tens of thousands of Southeast Asians, South Asians, Central Asians, East Asians, and Africans are smuggled into China every year. The number of these illegal immigrants has already exceeded the number of legal and illegal Chinese immigrants leaving China. This occurred under China’s zero-acceptance immigration policy.

What a great trip. It's great to see Long Distance Intercity Bus Trip in China, because in big country like China, people prefer to take flight or train, especially in China they have massive High Speed Train network. The route is breathtaking, 180° different than metropolitan counterparts, plenty of winding and mountainous road, between cliff and water zone, and definitely agree when in bad weather is full of uncertainty. It's surprising me to see, the Google map is working. I hope in the future you can do more Long Distance Bus trip report like this, since previously when I watched Trip Reports in China, it always train or flying. Lastly, greetings from Country in Southeast Asia who recently have it's First High-speed Train from your country.

National Highway 318, starting from Shanghai People's Square and ending in Nepal (though most Chinese people typically travel to Lhasa, which is near the endpoint), spans approximately 4,500 kilometers in total. It is also known as the "Scenic Boulevard of China" because it traverses multiple provinces along the way, offering a comprehensive glimpse of China's diverse landscapes. This is one of the most popular cycling routes in China, with countless enthusiasts embarking on journeys every year. Some start from the beginning in Shanghai, while others begin at various points along the route, all with the goal of cycling to Lhasa. If you have the time and a passion for cycling, I highly recommend this cycling route!

@rongwu-sj9ws9 ай бұрын
@@user-cj6rl2mq3c The time is quite long, typically taking several months. Riding a bicycle covers a daily distance of 100 to 150 kilometers, and it becomes slower after entering Chengdu. You'll have to cross 14 snowy mountains, often encountering continuous uphill roads for tens of kilometers. Additionally, the high-altitude oxygen deficiency can affect your physical strength. Most importantly, you'll frequently stay in cities along the way, linger in the city for several days, sample local cuisine, and explore around.
