Although this piece is a stark contrast to the intensity and excitement of the 3rd Movement of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata from last week, it is one that can really make you think. 2 years ago, I started to learn piano and I heard my grand parents in their room saying that this song meant a lot to them. So from there, I tried so hard to learn this song. Tonight is my piano concert and they are coming. I wanted them to come because I'm going to play this song and I want to know that they are important to me. I'll try not to cry but it's so hard ahhhh.. Wish me luck ahahah ! update : I was so stressed when it was my turn to play on the piano, i was shaking and i started to play with so much stress. I love this song. I listened to it a lot when I was going through loss of a horse that really was my soulmate. She was my world. I always vented to her when I had a bad day and she always comforted me. Now I'm listening to it to bring peace to my soul while I'm seething with anger at my brother for stupid stuff he's doing and going through mourning a friend distancing herself from me for having different opinions and she doesn't want to be "close" friends anymore. Just friends.... she's been one of my best friends for years and it hurts so bad. But this song has always brought me a sense of peace and relaxation ❤
