Thank you for doing multiple nail lengths :) most of my clients have an active style nail and it's nice to see how much product you use and the structure you create for the shorter nails. Everyone at Young Nails is so helpful and on point with information, education and nail trends. That's why you're my fav 💜😉 Edit: all of your videos and products makes me want to become an educator in this industry :)

I have so many play lists to go through. Seeing something like this explained makes me want to play with the products even more. I have to wait just a little longer then I can go for it. With me, (and only with some things) I have to hear the same thing a few times over before it sinks in (and it's funny to watch my face when I get it because you can see all the pennies drop in my head LMAO) and this is one of those things because of the different lengths. I love how you all explain things. You and Greg have this amazing way of explaining something slowly but it is never in a patronizing way. So many teachers don't have this when they teach. I swear, when I get this business of mine going, if I ever earn enough...I will make one more trip overseas to come and see you guys!

Riana Nails Boutique the set was very cute, but unfortunately, it the video wasn't in real time (it was sped up) and there wasn't a voiceover explanation. I never saw anytime cut the mark form to make it fit a finger. That was a pretty good trick. Lol. The video was Heidi with that. So thanks for the link😊.

Desi Doo doing your own acrylic nails isn't easy, but doing it while being filmed would be even more difficult. It takes courage to share a tutorial, knowing that some people are going to critique or criticize it. I'm sure she was focused more on teaching us how to apply product to build a strong nail, rather than focusing on creating a perfect looking nail. The last shot of her nails was perfect, so she obviously touched them up. If you look at her other work you'll see that she's an amazingly gifted nail tech, & her work is flawless. 😉
@traceyreierson51666 жыл бұрын
No disrespect taken, unfortunately I can't really see what I'm doing when doing my own nails on camera. Sounds funny, but to be in the right spot for the camera I can't put or turn the nail like I would normally. I will say though, I never really worry about what the application looks like, because I only care about the end result. It's kinda like when I get my hair done, I look like a freak with all the foils in my hair but as long as it looks good in the end.. I'm happy. Hope that helps.

Great video! I've been searching for a clear answer since i started school. Is the stress area where the white of the nail tip starts? If not, where is it on the nail?......thanks! Michelle
@msbao5173 жыл бұрын
You can tell her brush is old thats why the acrylic keeps wanting to stick to it while she's trying to guide it. You can see bits of acrylic still stuck to the brush which makes its lose it shape, hence making it harder to smooth out the acrylic. I've been doing nails for 20 years, so that's how I was able to spot it. Her guided instruction was wonderful, she just needs a new brush 😉

thanks so much for this. i know where an apex needs to be but came on here as i feel like im going stir crazy seeing massive over thick bulging apexes "wayyyy" back and tipping downwards with no support over the actual apex area. Some of the nails are like a cm thick in total! crazy . Even well known peoples videos seem to be redesigning where this apex is. Feel like im going mad! its not how i was taught. thanks for this video x

Does d acrylic and acytone damage ur natural nail?
@Tata-iu3fy6 жыл бұрын
trini fairley acetone can dry them out, and acrylic as long as it's EMA and not MMA, should not damage your natural nails. It is the nail techs use of the tools that is damaging nails, not the product itself. I know you weren't asking me, but I seen that no one answered your question yet. ☺
@trinifairley83216 жыл бұрын
Oookkkk Kool... Was just wondering because I have naturally hard nice nails... Anna I grow them.. So I was thinking of I decide to practice acrylic on my nails I don't want it to get damaged. From d acytone or sum
@Tata-iu3fy6 жыл бұрын
trini fairley I would definitely just be careful not to over file your natural nails. Just a light buff is all they'll need for enhancements. ☺ Get a good cuticle oil to give back what the acetone dries out.

I’m not an expert but is there anyway you can make false nails look less bulky in that apex. I’m trying to learn but I just don’t like the way they look with big bulges. So unnatural looking.
@youngnailsinc5 жыл бұрын
The longer the nail the more strength you need at the apex to keep the nail from snapping at it's stress point. You can still have a very thin sleek looking nail by thinning out your tip and cuticle area. Just need to be sure you have proper strength and structure so your nails don't snap
@kriss7076 жыл бұрын
She might be left handed...Since her right hand already had nails on. It’s hard laying acrylic with your non dominant hand.
