You have to realise appart from malmsteens amazing guitar playing is his fitness, This is a man who is almost 60 years old, He moves around the stage like a man more than half his age. Incredible. May that long be the case.

The only appreciable thing about this performance is Malmsteen's fitness form ...the rest is pure BORING USELESS MUSIC only good for the useless guitar players that likes to masturbate their guitars (or dreaming about to do it) . One minute of The Edge... Nile rodgers...Andy Summers etc.... worth the entire Malmsteen's career.

Ever hear Michael Romeo from Symphony X? If not.. I HIGHLY recommend it. Michael is a LOT deeper than Yngwie ever was... and can easily match Yngwie's speed, while saying so much more. Yngwie can shred for sure, but he constantly wails in everything he does while playing the same 5 licks. But I admit, when I first heard him in Alcatrazz in '83, I was very impressed and had to learn some of what he did on guitar. He did kind of start neo classical metal and shred guitar... I'll give him that. IMO, Yngwie was at his best in the early years. I've seen him twice. Oh...and I can drop a LOT of names of guys that can shred as long as they like, while staying very musical and interesting, but they're in a variety of styles.

He STILL manages to send chills throughout my body. From the 1990's to the Present Day, this is what happens to me when I hear him play. That Guitar becomes an extension of him, sharing one heartbeat. I'm always in Awe of him!!🤘🏻

When I saw him @House of Blue Chicago over/around 10 years ago he had so much smoke we could barely see him. It was like a Spinal Tap joke. Glad to see he toned down the smoke.

I'm willing to bet only 1 of those Marshall heads and maybe 1 or 2 of the cabinets you see on that stage are actually plugged in and pushing sound. If that whole backline was plugged in, the sheer volume would blow open the back doors of the venue and probably trip a shitload of electric breaker switches, eventually causing a power outage. Credit to Yngwie's road crew for setting up an impressive-looking array of amps to give the illusion of hugeness.

Yeah, most of them are off, you can see it pretty clearly. However, I'm sure some are on standby, dialed and patched in, so his tech can drop it immediately if one of the main amps goes out.

Crazy one is correct. Most of the time he likes all heads plugged in for the little red light in the front But only house right two are actually “on”. Also those heads are stacked 5 to 7 high with no ratchet straps so don’t bump into them haha. The Great Wall of Yngwie. Gotta love it🤟

Он сейчас исполняет только инструменталы и песни, которые сам способен петь ( и то, в сокращенном варианте), бОльшая и лучшая часть его творчества остается за бортом. Мальмстин - непревзойдённый композитор, но его сразу невзлюбили пресса и критики, поэтому он так критикуем.Вот я ни разу не слышал и слова критики в адрес Ван Халена, Сатриани, Роудса, Вая и многих других гитаристов, а вот Мальмстин - прямая противоположность, только критику и слышал.Почему-то он просто притягивает хэйтеров.

I'm not a big fan of either guy, but Vai is very, very different. Val's music has far more variety to it than Malmsteen's, and much more musicality. They have very little in common. They're both rock guitarists; that's about it.
