Whoa!!! Finally.... How to knit into the back of a double yo. Thank you sooooo much for this comprehensive explanation of "Yo's all ways". You saved the day for me on a "knit in a hurry" project. You are way at the top of the list of teaching videos. Love your style too.

YO this was helpful. Trying to make up a pattern for knitting a Christmas Tree for our trailer bathroom door. We shall see. Do I have enough experience to do this … no not at all. The lace is lovely.

Can you tell me what to do when the pattern asks to do a yarn over at the end of the row and start the next row with a yarn over. I really want to know

Wow, you must be knitting 24/7--you do so much! Thanks for the video. I've had problems with double yarn overs and how to treat them when you get to the next round.
@PurlTogether5 жыл бұрын
You're very welcome! Do you have the double YO figured out now?
@gammaguire56235 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I need to practice. Someone once told me that when you get to the next row or round on a double yo that you knit one of the strands and purl the other one . More practice required!

When knitting your next row, do you knit the two stitches together to avoid increasing my work?
@PurlTogether2 жыл бұрын
It depends upon the pattern you're using. Usually your increases or decreases will be paired so that your stitch count will remain the same

😂When working lace do you purl your yo on the WS? I understand how to do a yo, I just don't understand what to do with it on the return row. My pattern doesn't specify, only that all WS rows are purled, and center stitches are purled (its a shawl). I can't seem to get a straight answer.
@PurlTogether9 ай бұрын
Yes, just purl the YO when you're on the wrong side.

How do you purl that yo on the next row?
@PurlTogether9 ай бұрын
Just treat it like a regular stitch and purl it as normal
@kimbish32594 жыл бұрын
Hi, how do you knit yarn overs through the back loop?
@PurlTogether4 жыл бұрын
When you come to a YO, it should be oriented the same as a regular knit stitch, so you'd simply knit it through the back leg. Does that make sense?
