Thanks for a great tutorial. I watched close to 10 other videos before I found yours. Now I finally understand.

Finally someone who knits the way I do! Trying to learn from someone who knits continental is so confusing.

Same! I try to watch what they are actually doing with the yarn, and then I fumble to make it fit my hands! Way to go!

Finally, a perfect explanation on YO. Especially when you purl a YO in a purl row. Thank you. 😅

Thank u for telling me how to do this. I thought I was doing it wrong but when I knitted the yo I was doing it too loosely. I like how u pulled on your working yarn to tighten it❤

Can you show me how to do a yfwd followed by a yrn
@jennyknits3 жыл бұрын
The yarn over when knitting is bringing the yarn forward, then continue to knit. A purl yarnover is bringing yarn forward then wrapping the right needle then continue purling. just like in the video.

How do we close the eyelid if we are purling?
@jennyknits5 ай бұрын
If you are purling, when you get to the yarnover stitch, you want to purl into the back loop. The front leg is long and the back leg is short. Purl into the short leg. Hope that makes sense! Good luck

What pattern is the first shawl?
@jennyknits4 жыл бұрын
The first piece is a made-up scarf pattern, Knit on the diagonal and random lacy parts between garter stitch parts. The wrap is called Inara Wrap on Ravelry. www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/inara-wrap. The last Scraf was called Hopscotch. www.canadutch.nl/wordpress/archives/16997 Thanks for watching!
