As a guitarist that has played every genre of metal, and learned from artists as complex as opeth. It is hard to explain how fucking talented this band is and how complex and difficult it is to write that is so unorthodox. Not only the writing but vocally so well rounded what a gem of a band!!

But, unpopular opinion: Our Raw Heart is not their best album, Atma is.

They haven’t done a bad album. I’ve followed them since the beginning and each album is a true representation of where they are mentally at the time (especially Mike obviously). Every album is a progression from the last and EVERY album is gold. Which one is considered “the best” is totally down to personal opinion and what affects the listener the most. In my opinion, Yob are the best band to ever walk the planet, but not everyone will agree with that!🕉

It is hard to believe you actually love Yob if you dont like those two songs. I have to agree that in this live his vocals were far from being on point but come on, beauty in falling leaves is the best song ever written IMO, go check the original.
