Great review. I bought the SAT 38s a few months back because there are a lot of hills where I ride. They weighed at 1390g for the pair. I mounted a set of Schwalbe Pro One TLEs on them and it was simple to set them up as tubeless with only a track pump. No rim tape needed either. I love these wheels.

Hub sounds don't really matter, it only occurs when you're going downhill >70kph anyway and the wind noise blocks it out.

I disagree. When riding in a group there is often no need to pedal at all. Or for example when approaching a junction, etc. And these hubs are so loud that even strong winds can't block them out. 🤷‍♂️

Yeoleo needs to develop new wheels to compete with other Chinese wheel manufacturers. They were great in 2018 but they are falling waaaayyyy behind at present.

Yes, absolutely. They have a new set of YOELEO PRO wheels that I think came too late to the party and they're also struggling with marketing.

Ahoj, jako uživatel obyčejných kol za pár korun, tak za mě čím hlučnější ořech, tím dražší kolo 🙂. Kdybys měl možnost porovnat s Equator kolama za podobnou cenu, tak bych ocenil. Jinak držím palce ke kanálu a ať se ti to rozvíjí.

Tak to mě nenapadlo se na to dívat takto. :-D Equatory testovat neplánuji, ale z povídání kamarádů bych si tipl, že budou někde na podobné nebo nižší úrovni, než tyhle YOELEa. Díky. :-)

Winspace are not much more silent, which is good-when riding in the woods bears, wolves and other wildlife hear you from 100 kms away and clear off..😂

@@cyclistshub I have the previous version of the DB pro built with DT Swiss hubs which are very silent but I wouldn’t mind the loud hubs of the new ones as the overall quality of these wheels is very good.

Loud hubs have benefits (on bike paths, for example). 👍
