This is exactly what I needed. After retirement and moving, I don’t walk as much and I sit more. I can feel my body decaying. Thank you for this mobility beginner. Your videos are always so simple and relaxing.

After 6 years of almost daily practice I loved this slow stretch and learned how to use each pose even more effectively! Thank you! It always good to start from the beginning again bcs there are always new things to learn!

I agree! I would appreciate more slow videos like this explaining yoga postures and what do they do:) I love Sarah’s videos but some of the “ one breath one pose” videos are too fast for me 🙈 so this one is brilliant!♥️

Hi, my name is Fiona (65) and I live in South AFrica. I have just discovered your videos and started off small with the 10 minute and the 20 minute videos. I was quite horrified to find how inflexible I have become and even my balance is not as it was. I am thoroughly enjoying the poses and hope that my flexibility and balance will improve. Thank you.

I've been doing yoga with Sarah Beth for just over two years now, & I love watching these newer videos. It's so refreshing to do a fundamentals practice, even if you are an experienced yogi! Sarah Beth describes proper alignment in a way that's easy to understand, which is why I have enjoyed following her. Thank you for this video! An excellent way to start the day as well.

omg i love modifications you included like 'adding cushions' underneath for sitting on the matt! I always add a cushion when i do this but usually i have a voice in my head saying 'you're an athlete shouldnt you be able to do this without a pillow by now?' HOWEVER seeing you include the cushions too in this video made me realise its okay & made that inner voice calm down! So thank you!

I cannot thank you enough for truely understanding what a beginner is. You go slowly enough that I can follow along and explain what to do with my body when I am not in a position to look at the screen. Also, your poses are doable for a beginner and I love the way you give pose options to make them a little easier or more challenging. This is an amazing workout and you are my new yogi. Thank You

I began doing your various beginner yoga videos last month. I have scleroderma and my flexibility & stability are both an issue, which I have been fighting with weight training for years. However, I realized this year that yoga could be beneficial. I am grateful to have found your videos and while you may not view your practices as benefiting those with varying abilities, they make a genuine difference. I refer to myself as "chronically fabulous" in that my illness doesn't stop me, and I intend to remain as such. Thank you for helping me along my journey!

Awesome!!! I am just starting to practice yoga at 53. Too many old injuries to go back to weightlifting and mountain biking... Now it is all about functional fitness!! I love the downward dog... However you are very right... I cannot see that being a resting pose ever...lol... perhaps in time! Thank you!!

Wow is your product ever getting polished. I see so many improvements over the years and this last video was so well done. Everything from chapters to transcripts to hints in the top right of the video, you are a world class!! I tend to waffle between you and Adriene Mischer (she was the 1st one I discovered). I love both of you! Sometimes I need more serenity so I watch your videos. I also love how you incorporate a lot of child's poses (my favorite). I also love how you hold positions for a length of time. I feel that really feeds the stretch. Anyway, thank you so much for your videos & time! My back certainly appreciates these routines.

This was really helpful! I'm not a beginner anymore and I've done a lot of these poses, but I still learned a lot from Sarah Beth explaining how they are supposed to feel. It reminded me to be aware of my body, and holding poses and going slowly was surprisingly intense.

As someone who considers themselves an intermediate practicer of yoga, I really enjoyed the return to basic poses. The slow pace helped me identify some elements that I did not realize I needed to focus on. Awesome video! Please keep creating your content, it is a beam of sunshine into my life ☀️

I really really appreciated the breakdown of the movements in this one. While I wouldn’t say I’m at the very beginning of being a beginner, the detailed walkthrough of the movements helps so much when I can’t look at the screen. This one really challenged my stability, just means I gotta work more on my core haha. Thanks so much for all the work you put into these videos!😊

I am really only now starting my journey after doing yoga for better sleep nearly a year(mostly in my PJs with that minty breath and on the bed); and I must say after 4th time I am getting already better with well everything - moving my hips into a better position, getting that good hinging from my hips... thank you!!!

Thank you, i loved this session. I tried a routine from somebody else earlier, but i was very frustrated, because it wasnt really beginners friendly (even though it said so). I love, that you show options, and not only mentions them, especially for downward dog

I enjoyed this. I cannot say its easy for me. 10 years ago yoga was no problem. I am enjoying the challenge. I need it. To some this may be so simple and again 10 years ago Id agree. Im so out of shape that its hard to get that stretch in because of my hips. Ty, each day I practice my posture and strength improve.

This was a great practice and I will be practicing it again. I used to practice yoga regularly but a couple of years ago I have injured my self. I am just getting back to practicing again and have decided to start with your beginner videos.

Have been using this since last Thursday, every day but Saturday and feeling sooo much looser and less stiff (after a long time away from yoga). Didn’t even notice that tonight (Tuesday) I started the video right away and felt fine where other nights I’ve first done a few minutes of extended mountain to forward fold and back, with some others in between bc my back was so stiff and uncomfortable. Feeling stronger and looser bit by bit

Hi!! I just wanted to say I love your videos. They’ve been such a great help to me, and I’ve recommended them to so many people! In many of these flows, I notice I struggle due to quad weakness thanks to my patella alta/knee arthritis. Do you have any videos that specifically help strengthen quad muscles? Thank you so much!

Not yet! But I do have a postpartum series you can do with your baby to the side or front of your mat. I used those videos while my baby did tummy time
