Hello and thank-you for visiting my channel - Yoga with Kate.
Today’s class will be yoga for Menopause, perimenopause and for your hormones.
Your hormones are extremely powerful and affect every tissue in your body.
Perimenopause symptoms can start years before going through Menopause and these include, hot flushes, irritability, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, depression, memory issues, and many more.
The symptoms are exacerbated by hormone fluctuations and imbalances.
Today’s Yoga for Menopause class will focus on your HPA axis; your hypothalamus, pituitary gland and adrenal glands which control your hormone production. Yoga can help you manage your symptoms more naturally.
It’s always worth consulting with your Doctor to see how they can help you and it’s well worth looking at your diet as there are many foods that can will help you with your journey.

Hi ❤ Can this class help regulate the menstrual cycle? I'm starting perimenopause and my cycles are chaotic. I wouldn't want to take hormones... Are there any classes besides this one that can help me? Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks so much for commenting. All yoga will be helpful to your body in self regulation of menstrual cycles. Have a look in the hatha yoga/beginners yoga playlist as there’s lots in there. Also research seed cycling as that is a natural way of providing your body what it needs for your menstrual cycle. 🙏🏼

I have been doing this now for a week and can honestly say I’m feeling better for it. I’m also recovering from frozen shoulder so this is helping so much with that too ( I’m 54 …feeling 53 😂) 🙋🏻‍♀️🇬🇧💕jane

Hi Kate I just discovered your channel and have subscribed 😊. I'm 45 and just seeing subtle signs of perimenopause. I do have heavy menstrual bleeding and fibroids..will this practice help with this also? I'm definitely treating myself holistically for this so I'm hoping regular yoga will help many thanks 🙂

Hi Lindsey! Thanks so much for subscribing! This will definitely help you. It helps your body heal itself. Ensure your iron levels are good if you suffer with heavy menstrual bleeding. I’m hoping you will start feeling better if you practice yoga regularly. Please keep me posted!
