Loved that you included a link to the first ever video, which I just watched for the first time. 2012 hey-oh! I am from Bozeman, MT. We finally have a warm, non snow Earth Day, although there is still 3 ft of snow in our mountain yard. Just came from Beautiful Belize but the state of their beaches and reefs is so sad. So much plastic!!! We spent a good part of our vacation just picking up bags and bottles. We need to act now! I am campaigning to outlaw plastic bags in all of our stores. France can do it and so can Bozeman, MT. and so can our yoga community. Make an oath to always bring your own bags to stores. It is a start.

My GP recommended Adriene yoga for my anxiety and I can't imagine life without it now. It gives me a reset physically, mentally and emotionally. So grateful this resource is shared for free with such a warm heart.

I totally agree, and I feel is not just about yoga, with no doubt is an amazing tool. But the thing is FIND WHAT FEELS GOOD, that's what really change the game. Because here, in these practices you can just be yourself, find some encouragement from this beautiful and kind woman, find empowerment from this amazing community, and know there are millions of people just experience the same vulnerability, insecurities like you. And that's what make this channel so powerful, so amazing. Thank all of you guys. Because you're my classmates and I have this gorgeous teacher for almost 4 years now.

Build Day17:04:24✅ Almost skipped today's. I went for some meditation instead. Here I am😅 This practice is just what i need, so empowering and refreshing even though i still feel sore from day 16 🦶🏾😅...i eventually showed up, surrendered, pulled myself together, did it slowly, taking breath breaks and i got to the end. i can feel myself improving better each day. So let's carry on everyone, however hard it is, give it our best, it's so worth it. ..Lady Adriene, Ty for your amazing gifts that keeps giving, whispering,... @27:35 "I can, i choose and i will"...i did that! felt that!!💕 💕🤗😌sigh! i got so emotional and the tears were flowing freely...so soothing You are truly the light in the dark.Thank you...i appreciate this so much. Your videos never fail to inspire me and brighten my day . A perfect mix of mindfulness and playfulness . In 50 years you’ll be remembered as the billy Graham or bob dylan of yoga . So many instructors are either to dogmatic or to plastic and fake . But you are a light that always shines and inspires both spiritual and mindful while being down to earth . It's curious how some of the planned practices align with my needs or thoughts that day. I've been thinking very seriously about my future today. About how things need to change, that I must take control and all that. Bowing my head after "I can", "I choose", "I will" got me really emotional. I didn't expect that! Yoga is very interesting. BUILD 🔥 | April 17, 2024 | It's been another year, and just like the last time we did this, my legs are a bit tired from our lower body strength practice yesterday! But as always it fees great to re-energize and stretch it out and the foot massage was appreciated today! 🙏

Here on 22/04/2022✅ Refresh Day 22🍀🌸💗💕Totally excited for future Yoga, absolutely 💯🫶🏾🧘🏾‍♀️. Got an excellent result from my neuro consult today after a lengthy thorough check I've missed due to Pandemic, he said "You are actually healing yourself, well-done incorporating Yoga daily and healthier lifestyle, having suffered severe sensitivities to light, always in dark glasses, sciatica and carpal tunnel and right side/ right hand numbness. I am so elated I made that decision 5yrs ago and it's been well rewarding. Thank you so so much Adriene 🤗💖🌸, Benji💞🐕😄 and this awesome supportive ywa community for all your encouragement. I am so grateful to all. See you all 2moro for another gr8 practice. Namaste🙏🏾❤️

Today, I delayed getting to the mat until after 6pm. I felt tired all day, even had a nap. Right before starting the video, I found out a Lithuanian monk I have known here in Korea for a long time passed away yesterday at a relatively young age. This reminder wiped away the tiredness. Make each moment fully present and beneficial to all. I dedicate my time on the mat today to Bo Haeng sunim. 💜🙏 Balance day 23. 566 days in a row.

It’s so nice to see familiar comments again, I just finished Home and the ride was amazing, but it’s harder for me to keep up with calendars as they are not exactly Day 1 and so on. Seeing the same people practicing whenever I drop in gives me courage to show up too. Namaste🙏🧘🏽‍♀️🌱

Thank you for these practices that I can do in the privacy and comfort of my home. I started in January and I’m getting stronger and more flexible with every practice. They are the perfect length to make me not feel overwhelmed. This 52 year old body appreciates the work!

Build, April 17, 2024. Had to take a break in between to take care of a stomach that was not pleased at the time. I don't normally take breaks, but I was not able to focus on anything else. Reminded myself to be kind to me and my thoughts, acknowledge, pause then continue on. It's all okay. Namaste 💙

I'm on my moon cycle today and I hurt my wrist. So I made many modifications more than usual, I did child's pose during the downward dogs, kept my legs wide legged during forward folds to make room for my belly even when she said to put legs close together, I also felt safer with my hands gently circling my knees rather then trying to do airplane arms which is a pose I usually enjoy and in sphinx instead of cobra. I'm saying all this because what is most amazing to me is that it is all this time practicing with Adriene that gave me the ability to listen to what I needed. After so long of listening to her encouragement I know I am able to get on the mat and be gentle with myself and make adjustments if I need to and that In the experience I will be led to where I need to be. Thank you Adriene for being a truly wonderful and trustworthy guide.

Still here for BUILD April 2024 but had to switch the days around a bit according to how much time I have. Earth Day 2024 was yesterday. Yesterday and today were immensely stressful ... again but I'm feeling much better after the yoga practices. I'm trying so hard not to give in to stress eating and I need to meal prep a little bit today to make sure I have something nutritious to feed my body with. That'll distract me for a bit and make it easier not to reach for snacks! Sending so much love to everybody who is having a tough time and so much love to everybody who enjoys smooth sailing right now. The utmost gratitude to Adriene, Benji & the whole team for the daily, free practices that are truly priceless! THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.

This one was just what I needed. I laughed out loud when Adriene invited us to pet our doggie because just ten seconds before, my two little guys had come up to my feet and I was scratching their ears while doing my forward fold. I absolutely love at-home yoga. It’s been such a gift in my life.

Today we got the call that our daughter had contact with someone testing positive for covid, meaning we'll be in isolation with 4 kiddos for the next couple of weeks. Fun times. I am very grateful for this daily practice since January and it helps tremendously!! Here's to the future 🎆

Thank you so much for this practice! I started my day feeling how it looked outside. Cold gloomy and wet. Right after we finished the hard part (so right after the hip dips) of this practice the sun came out and shone on my whole body! I think this is the first time that I instinctively stayed in shavasana, because I really was in a good place :) I struggle with these quiet postures a lot and with letting go of my thoughts. The 3 extra minutes I took today felt like such a relief. It's amazing to see these changes over time... I am so grateful for this channel and this community and that I get to go on this journey! I truly believe you are saving my life during these dark days of Covid-19 and lockdowns. The future seems dark and uncertain but visiting the mat with you on a daily basis is keeping me sane.

Thank you for this Adriene. You reminded me, as draconian measures are getting worse around the world, to be strong and do what I believe in. Every day is earth day for sure, we have to try and protect our beautiful mother. This was so fitting today and it makes me cry knowing what is coming but I am staying centred and knowing that I am not alone does help. Love and light to all.

Refresh Day 23, 10th day in a row for me♥️ I'd like to use this opportunity to really, deeply hearted thank you! I have BPD and PTSD and as a result if I get really scared or overwhelmed or have flashbacks (which usually isn't me reliving the situation but rather the emotions I had back then) I go into shutdown, meaning I'm not able to move even though I want to. Thankfully, these situations don't occur often, rather every few months, but they are very scary and frustrating, since it needs another person or a lot of time to get out of them. Yesterday, it happened again which was kimd of a milestone for me because after a while I was able to pull myself out of it by remembering how you guide us out of corpse pose: "Wiggle your toes and your fingers and your tongue in your mouth." I started with my tongue and then proceeded to my toes and fingers and then managed to slowly get moving again. Huge, huge thank you for handing me such a tool❤

Adriene was spot on with this one. This session marks a start for me. Not a really big shift, but it will definitely spread into many aspects of my life. It might seem silly, but I have, just before this practice, come to the realisation that moving with intention is everything. I've decided that I'm going to state a why, an intention, a reason before I actually get on the mat, that way I can move unhurried and be patient with myself as opposed to rolling out the mat just because I have to do yoga. And this will serve me off my mat as well, I can actually see how this time. It brings purpose to the table. I'm just writing this for anyone who feels like doing yoga is more of a task than anything else. I'm proud of us! Let's keep going! Namaste🙏❤ P. S.: My intention for this practice was I START NOW.

Countless sleepless nights and low energy kept me away but this beautiful practice brought me out of the dark. The hip dips started the water works and half a box of tissues later, I feel like myself again. Only yoga can do that for you. Good morning from Harrah, Oklahoma! I've never commented on one of your videos before, but I thought I'd share my happiness with the wonderful community, and of course, Adriene! I started your videos about 3 months ago today and started primarily for weight loss. When someone is a full time nursing student and a full time nurse aide as well, you tend to lose track of taking care of yourself. I gained 100 lbs in about 6 months and that was on top of being newly married and of course the infamous "freshman 15" or in my case the freshman 35. BUT, as of my weigh in today, I am officially down by 50 lbs!!! I simply wanted to thank you so much for making it easy to stay motivated and helping me grow not only in strength, but in mind. I hope everyone who reads this has a fantastic day and the awesome in me bows to the awesome in you! Namaste.

I was in a sour space when I started this video. I immediately pressed pause and then did everything in my power to avoid going back to the mat. I clipped my toenails, took the two tea cups to the sink, lit some more incense, picked up laundry off the dog-hair-covered floor of my kid's room, groomed myself some more.... I attempted to muster some weakly-flickering courage and finally came back to it. I ended my practice with tears rolling down as I hoarsely whispered namaste. Remembering that we sometimes fall off the love wagon, but it's always making frequent stops for us to get back on. Thank you, friend.

When we were standing in that mountain pose, right at the beginning of the practice, I started to cry. My anorexia has caused me to be really emotionless for a long time, but I have chosen to fight. This practice felt like such a relief from my past struggles; I am now ready to face my future. I have to carry on and chose to fight my eating disorder every time I feel like giving up. @@zuriwilson-seymore8939 oh good, I'm glad to hear that 🥰 I used to use tiger balm all the time, fabulous stuff but I haven't found it much help for arthritis. I've just got some frankincense and myrrh balm to try as I saw an article with lots of good things to say about frankincense for arthritis and fibromyalgia (lucky me has both lol). I did some research and there are a lot of people who say it has helped them. I can't take it as a supplement as it is contraindicated with several medications I take so I thought I'd give it a try as an external remedy instead. It's literally just popped through my letterbox so fingers crossed. Enjoy today's practice which I'm just about to do and have a wonderful rest of your day 💞

From here in England Adriene on this April morning, sun shining today, as one of your senior yogis, I adjusted a little through this practice to make it fun for me. So I missed out the chaturangas and hip dips and went to downward dog. I felt strong in plank and warriors and caught the wave by breathing with you slowly through each move. This was super yummy 😊.
