With Aura Edition available for the same price I'll better get Lunar Lake
@bellamartinez2788Ай бұрын
@JustJoshTech the issue with the HP truly is it's display. Not only is it not OLED, but it is also only 60hz compared to the Lenovo. Also, to the previous reply, I had the Aura Edition and the issue with that laptop was the processor not being multi threaded leading me to return that laptop and look for an AMD processor with at least 120hz display so that I can use it for light gaming. This Lenovo Josh showed off in this video basically ticks all the boxes except, I really wish it has wifi BE (wifi 7) as I just got a Wi-Fi 7 router for Christmas, but this is something I can live with. 60hz display is something I cannot and why the HP is close, but a miss for me.

@@22Tech Indeed. However, I believe this should become a non-issue soon as screens continue to improve. I have the previous generation of this laptop with the 5800U. After almost 3 years I had it die with a power supply that failed during a hurricane while I was on generator power. IPS panels in 2024 are now excellent and anyone claiming they are vastly inferior probably have not tried the ones on the XPS 13 or Surface Laptop 7. If Storage (SSDs) are important to you, some Lenovo laptops might be a non-starter exactly because of the 2242 SSDs - sure, you can replace it, but the choices are so little and so poor and so expensive that it might not be worth it.

Loud or semi loud fan noise even for almost light loading? Neeeext!! One of the reasons why mac is still behind by much is just that. Been able to use 20w average or even low in the air lineup makes apple silicone be ahead by 2-3 years right now. Intel did the best decision to lower the TDP of Lunar lake. I guess next battle will be that, lower the TDP in x86 to be on pair with ARM. For 95% of the users it is sooo much easy to use a macbook air over any Acer swift, yoga 7 or HP envy.

It isn’t using hx 370?? Is there an option for it? Isn’t the 890m igpu better?

AMD laptops are just so bad at the battery life department. At the same price, most people that use productivity softwares should get Intel. They are getting superior ST and battery life.

2025 is almost here, and Apple’s trackpad is still leagues ahead of the competition

Since the first MacBook Pro even... But Windows touchpads are indeed better than ever.

@hirunguyen4522Ай бұрын
problem is price. they can bump the price 100$ and get the same level of trackpad, but window users don't use track pad I think so they don't add it. surface and dell have the same level of trackpad and they cost the same as Macbooks

I don't find macbook trackpad that much better tbh. Yeah, it's good, but then I go back to my lenovo yoga 14 and feel 0 discomfort. And I'm using the trackpad and gestures all the time. Feels like people just blowing this out of proportion. The difference is not that significant anymore.

Studying finance. Should I get the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i or Zenbook S14?
@jankengu3428Ай бұрын
Wondering the same thing, except I'm considering the Surface 7 too. I don't really need any games other than League since I already have a steam deck and don't play much triple A games anyway (wouldn't want to anyway if not optimized for deck)

I don't get it... In one video you are destroying this model, saying that has poor performance and in this video you are saying that it's good... Make up yout mind!

Ha, which one. Please keep in mind our videos are done linearly (for the most part). So sometimes new tech we get in changes our thoughts on tech we had in a week or so ago. But let me know your question.

Terrible laptop. Really cheaply built, terrible flex, terrible trackpad. I didn't even bother configuring Windows, I returned it as soon as I held it in my hands and tried the trackpad. Hard pass. Worth half its price at best.

I think you got the wrong laptop. My Yoga Pro 7 is really solid and well-built.
@someguy321Ай бұрын
@hai.do. nope. This exact one. Push your finger on the trackpad and tell me it doesn't flex inward by a few good millimeters. "Solid" lol 😂
@hai.do.Ай бұрын
@@someguy321 I agree that trackpad is cheapest part on this laptop. It does have slightly flex, but not "terrible". Except for that, the chassis and materials are good.
