For Sambar podi I was already following same ingredients & method as Maami. For Rasam powder, I add 100 gms of Kadalai dhall, same no. Of Red chillis. No Curry leaves at all. I make it as fine podi & add Fresh curry leaves while cooking Rasam. Taste is very good. Sambar podi of Maami is Traditional receipe. I too had learnt both traditional recepie from my Mother

Everytime I make this podi it turns out different flavour but I like this podi very much because it has a nice aroma the aroma of sambhar nd I have made this podi more than 5 times by now I am literally fan of ur dishes aunty . Love from delhi ❤

Super mam. Your family is lucky to have you. My mom looks same as you and our relatives always take our home made powders too. I miss her, haven't learnt cooking from her, my m-in-law also cooking master I am not upto her as she doesn't know to say the quantity only by hands she just puts for snacks or sambarpowder or rasampowder, all with good fragnence of the dish. That same I do but for the smell missing!!! . She is 85 now. Show your family specially pethi you say , does your Dr-i- law too cooks as you. Very nice to see you mam.
