I was way more aware of the things that I could do than the things that I couldn't, which is what I think this journey is all about. It helped me to calm myself and find what I actually want to be doing with my life. I slowly started working out as well and now that lazy person from last year loves moving, getting stronger, getting fitter. And even though I don't do yoga as often anymore, it was still something that helped me at the beggining which is always the hardest part. And everytime I find the time and come back to your practise I feel peace and love and I finally trust myself. I'll be thanking you for the rest of my life for that. I feel you ! I cried today for the first time since the pandemic started and it’s not even that horrible of a day . I just got overwhelmed by a very stressful work day and the never ending pandemic and the tiny space I live in which can turn claustrophobic. I still told myself I would at least do Yoga even through the tears and with tissue in hand. Feel so much better for it. The matt now feels like this safe space where everything is okay to just be. What a beautiful thing to have. I hope you are doing better today yourself and like me, learn to do something for yourself daily. Thank you Adrienne !!!

Trust is part of my 2023 intention. Trusting is putting one foot in front of the other. Not knowing the full plan nor exactly you feel compelled to do this good deed

I've been stuck in a strange reality where verbalizing my gratitude towards a person has had strange effects on the flow of positive energy but I remember that growing up when a teacher used to say Good job or well done to me, it empowered me to continue to excel. Well, as an adult I want to be like those that helped me. And as a person who remembers what it's like to be a little girl, I just wanted to say, I hope you continue to teach and be healthy and safe. You are a role model to me. And I appreciate you! ...lol.. I could have just said Namaste but I like to personalize my thank yous. 😊💜💓

I found this new meaning to yoga today as I return back to this practice after getting sick and losing my rhythm. I remembered how breath carries this practice and movement. Specifically I realized something very healing in corpse pose. The meaning of corpse pose means something very new to me. I imagined myself completely surrendering all of my fear and need to control in life. I chose to trust the universe and my breath and soul and journey to take me where I need to go. The mantra “everything is as it should be” became more true in my heart. I thought back to the times I listened to monks and other spiritual thinkers discussing how we need to cleanse ourselves from negative energy in life. I imagined my corpse being vulnerable and open to the mat. I was simply skin and bones and my breath. I imagined my vulnerable organs and mind opening up and being cleaned by each cleansing breath. Each breath in was warm and loving and helped scrub away all of the negativity within. I stay still allowing myself to surrender to the mat. I allow myself to be as vulnerable as possible and let go and in the process I allow negative energy to be wiped away. I collect myself at the end of corpse pose to collect my soul and flesh and bones together to recreate movement. To create an organized body that functions and thinks. But one as new. Rebirthed and rejuvenated from the practice and ready to take in the next days energy.

Today was the first day I genuinely struggled to get on the mat. I felt accountable to myself and to this lovely community to just get here and once I started I knew I’d figure it out. Still not feeling great and it didn’t magically cure me but I know I feel better than I would have if I didn’t make it to the end of this journey. Thanks ♥️

Luckily, I think Adriene has mapped out a few different paths we can follow after this. I was feeling at a loss of how to continue on this journey (after the 30 days) but read that she will share ideas on continuing 🧘♀️ Namaste 😌

Me and my little sister have been doing these videos and it's been so much fun!!! I love bonding with her. Literally during today's video when you were leading into the crow position we were joking about how we couldn't do it, and then she just did it she wasn't even trying to!! Like, we both just stayed in the squat then she leaned into it and did it. We both were :000000 thank you so much I had so much fun today. I love your longer videos. Today's video also helped me come back from the edge of a panic attack 💕 I feel good again!

I started this journey later in the year, but I'm on day 28 right now. Today I finally experienced lift-off in crow, in a way that felt supported by my core and not dumping into my wrists! Thank you Adriene, for reminding me to trust the process and continue the practice.

ahhhh I was so unbalanced today and fell down a few times doing the one-legged poses which was slightly frustrating, but I just put on a fake smile and a fake laugh and tried it again and fell down a few more times but soon the fake laugh turned into a real one and I just embraced my imbalance and got on with the practice. As I was typing this I caught a glimpse of myself in my bedroom mirror and I thought the way my hair was falling over my shoulder was really beautiful, which surprised me. Just thought I'd share this. Have a great day everyone!!!
