This movie can honestly never live up the standards of the movie it was inspired for, "I saw the devil", I still remember the cut heads rolling around, how the blood was dripping around the main characters' bodies. The subtle hints that the main character soo-hyuk wasn't a monster or a psycho like the villain and shed tears at times over his own behavior and the emotional sadness and how the villain didn't care about his son watching his cut head but he was trying to save himself. Tbat was a true masterpiece!

Forgive me but whenever I remember that movie, I remember only one scene- that glorious toilet scene when the villain figures out he has a tracking device in his stomach and he consumes loads of pooping medication. I should remember how bad he was, I should remember all the horrible things he did and all the great ways the hero beat him. I should remember the graphic revenge scenes. But however I try, the first thing that always comes to my mind is raw tatti and the guy taking out tracking device from his own shit. That should have been enough but he had to feed that to a poor guy, a random stranger who came in to pee. For absolutely no reason at all that poor guy was punched and beaten up in a toilet, and force fed shit. That scene is all I remember. Please don't call it a masterpiece.
