This was perfect! My mom wanted something to stretch her legs at night that wasn’t too long. When I showed her this, she thought it was too long, but I said, let’s try! She did the whole thing and really liked it!! Thank you, Paula! Mom is really enjoying your practices.

What a challenging yet beautiful practice this was, Paula! I almost felt like giving up when I first eased into the pigeon pose, but I was able to push through following your guidance - instead of fighting the stretch (which only made it more intense), I was able to breathe and surrender to the discomfort. It was such a powerful and meaningful experience in a relatively short yoga practice, the ending poses on the mat were perfect for a slow and gentle recovery. I found strength, courage and self-belief in this practice! Thank you.

I recently found you on KZbin and it has been a wonderful addition to my yoga practices. I couldn't have picked a better video to do today. I have been having hip and sciatic nerve pain. Love the stretches and holding ..do follow you but not as often as I should ..love explaining the breath whilst working out - and realise have missed your calming voice- I do follow other instructors but enjoy yours - as always a thankyou ..🙏

My first time to do yin yoga I have always dreaded holding poses for longer than 1minute. I enjoyed your session very much , so much so that I found another one of your 30min yin session and did it after this one. You have such a calming voice and your music is perfect!! Hi Paula, I absolutely love your videos, thank you for being my online teacher! I have FAI (hip impingement) do you think these exercises would exacerbate or help that? From research I have been doing it seems like poses that work the glutes are a good counterbalance for FAI. Can you recommend any? Or even better, a video for us dodgy hip people?! Thanks again x x

Hi Lucy, thank you for your message. This practice should be okay for the hip impingement, however does hold the poses for awhile so notice if you need to back out of a pose - you really don't want to move into any sharper sensations. so couldnt hold the poses and couldnt even have my feet and hands at the same position in the front!. also whilst doing the stretch my inner back thigh near the glute hurt - is that normal?

This is quite a deep hip/inner groin stretch - you could try to use a couple of yoga blocks or books to rest your hands on and try to make the position a little shorter by not stepping as far forward with the front foot. Hope that helps!

Hello Paula, While bending forward in the sukh asana I have slight discomfort in my knees n lower back... Are there any asanas to strengthen the knees

I would recommend sitting up on a cushion or block to lift your hips a bit higher than your knees - this should help. I am planning on a class to strengthen knees down the track so thank you for the reminder!

Sorry to hear that you have been having some trouble with the video. I've looked at it down on my end and it seems to be working fine. Have you tried it on another device? Make sure you are accessing the video from youtube rather than another site. Hope that helps!
