Jeez, I wonder what Simon's look on all this is... I wish he had a vlog channel or something. I don't really mind if he just does his own thing, maybe it'd be better, to have his own channel, Yogscast Simon or maybe even just... Simon And just completely do his own thing... or do nothing. I think Simon doesn't need money. He has a house that's paid for. He's probably living large on Yogs cast income and royalties. So he doesn't have that push that the rest of us do because we need a pay check to pay the bills. You put that on top of a Beta Reclusive personality and you find going out in the world is stressful .... that all equals being depressed and holing yourself up in isolation. I think most of us would probably do the same in his shoes if we were well off financially. A woman is probably the only thing that would turn him around quite honestly.

that being said I think Lewis should address us, the fans of the channel on what's been going on with Simon because it's been like 6 months and it's the 2nd time he's gone on a long hiatus. It's really leaving us in the dark as fans as to the future of what's to be expected. Personally I've grown tired of watching the same 3 videos of Gary's mod / GTA / and some sort of FPS like BattleGrounds over and over again. It's been really dried up and it's totally lost the dynamic of Lewis and Simon's bantering which is, for me at least, the foundation of what brought me to watching this channel back in the golden days when minecraft was new to them.

Well, I agree, mostly, that it would get tiring putting out the same 3 types of videos out all time. It's certainly not like the old days, but people change and all that. Lewis has spoken before about Simon (not recently), and I believe he stated that Simon deals with depression ( which in some people can really mess them up for a few months), so it could be another bout of that. That being said, I do hope that Simon comes back to us, but if not due to other reasons then I'd understand as a long time fan. Simon's brilliant and we were/are lucky to have him in the Yogscast and be one of the founding members (even if he was a little reluctant about it). I just want to see him get better so he can pretend to be The Queen or Warwick Davis.

I'm 100% sure Lewis has talked about this before in depth, i'm sure you can find it on previous YogPods or what no, but Simon doesn't want anything to do with the Yogscast anymore. Not a falling out, he just finds it boring, he's not interested anymore. That's the TL:DR of it. Sure, they can still be friends. But without the Yogscast what opportunity do they have to do friendship things? The Yogs are so incredibly busy, they do most of their bonding through the stuff they organise to be on their channels. Simon will occasionally show up on a video every now and then when he's been convinced it'll be fun or it's his own idea, etc. The Tap channel was his idea. The NoMansSky unboxing was his idea. A one-off and a series he got bored of doing so it stopped. Since then, all his fun on being a manchild in his own cave playing games and watching twitch / youtube, whatever it is he's doing day to day. He's ill, he has mental problems not physical anymore. This is fine. I am fine with this. Let Simon fade away into memory, Lewis is the broken back horse of the Yogscast and he always has been, Simon has never been the type to do the work, he just wants to record and go home. It's ALWAYS been this way. Lewis has more shares of the company at the start because of this, he did all the behind the scenes work and Simon just met deadlines for recordings. Now the recordings don't entertain him anymore so he doesn't do them. It's that simple. Maybe someone can find the episode Lewis discussed this.

Lewis and Simon are the bedrock of Yogscast, It was really hard to take in when hearing about their friendship drifting away nor being the same as it was back in the good old days but would really like to hear from Simon, like what's been going on, for him to make single video just him explaining how life is going and where it's headed, Simon has given me laughs from 2009 up till now, I still re watch old videos all the time, but good to know they are still connected in the channel, just a shame it's not the same, I missed the gap that Simon used to fill with laughter (nothing sexual intended) but Triforce has sure filled that. I hope this podcast lasts for a very long time.

I completely get the trusting people's taste buds bit. One of my close childhood friends was trailer trash growing up whose idea of a meal was cheese whizz, miracle whip, and bologna on white bread. He thought and still thinks that everything tastes amazing because he grew up eating the grossest concoctions of processed garbage, canned fruit and vegetables, and on special occasions some squirrels, rabbits, or deer when his dad went hunting. I'm not a hard core manga/anime fan, but there are a few that are from my child hood that I've stuck with.
