What Pyrion describes with the gun-nut KZbinr is what the Lego review KZbinr JANGbricks does. He speaks very precisely and includes lots of caveats in his speech to ensure he can’t get “well, actually”’d by his commenters. I wouldn’t say he’s crazy, but it’s very interesting.

As someone who has never commented, liked or engaged in any way apart from listening, I'd like to say thanks for the shout-out and appreciation 😆 Also congrats to Sips and Mrs Sips on the new baby, I love hearing the parenting stories as I'd like to be a parent myself and it's like taking notes for the future 😆 I always think I'm most like Lewis with his usually well rounded but sort of basic opinions on things and Sips is the best guy, always perfectly timed with his comical interjections when Flax is getting a little too passionate about something he hates. @@henryjohnson-ville3834 Hi Henry. Im a doctor from the uk, and caught COVID in March 2020. I’ve been ill with long COVID ever since. Our government is telling us we don’t have to wear masks anymore and we should be. The mask is to stop droplets containing the virus, not the virus itself. I’m not convinced with the level of protection the vaccines offer either. All the more reason to wear a mask. I hope you change your mind on that.

"thank god" is a figure of speech
@knitterknerd3 жыл бұрын
Often, but certainly not always. I can assure you that, here in the US south, people frequently say it literally. Thankfully, my church and family are usually good about also recognizing the effort of the doctors. They also tend to thank God for doctors' training and hard work more than they thank God for healing. However, a lot of them are careful to do that specifically because they know the stereotype of Christians thanking God and not doctors.

It really is a health issue! Tennessee isn't even the worst, and we get temperatures from single digits to 100+ (in Celsius, negative teens to 38+). And the stereotypes about southern humidity are true. My husband used to regularly get heat exhaustion driving to and from work, when he didn't have AC in his car. Heating and air are essential!
