The Tik Tok issue is also largely a concern because politicians on both sides were pretty open about their main reason for getting rid of it being how it was used to publicize the atrocities happening in Gaza which turned public favor in an inconvenient direction for them.

A data specialist pointed out that the sheer amount of data being collected is unusable for anything other that high level trends. It's virtually unsearchable and trying to find any trends would need computers that exceed current capabilities by a factor of ten. It's just a mess of nonsense and not really usable for illicit uses.

I sort of agree with pflax. You wouldn't order a calzone with spaghetti in it would you? And yet Spaghetti Bolognese Calzone is a thing. Flour, tomato and meat and some herbs. Jeeeeez. Glad to hear Pflax enjoyed Denmark. As a Dane I'm a little biased, but I too enjoy getting out to the 'real' countryside away from all the touristy areas. Bornholm is unfortunately very touristy in the summer, but if you know someone that lives there it's a great way to stay with them and get to know the real local culture, which used to be very unique compared to the rest of Denmark.
