Dont follow lewis' bear advice btw. First of all grizzly and black bears look way different. If you cant tell, you shouldn't be in bear country. Its also a low chance that you are in a area that has both. The reason you fight back against a black bear is that they scare very easy. If you stand up to them, they arent going to risk it. Grizzlys get more crazy and will just kill you. "If its a bear, get out of there" is deadly advice. Against any bear (and most wild animals), running away get you killed. The actual solution is a 15$ can of bear spray

Famously, the romans stopped pitting lions against bears because the bears won basically every time. Their ways of fighting are not very compatible and the bear just ends up crushing the lions skull and the lion struggles to find purchase on the much denser fur and body of a bear.

Fall 2024, The Triforce crew: One full week, live, raw and uncut tour of the true Australian outback, with 3 aboriginal tour guides, no tech and provisions of (but not limited to): 1 massive roll of canvas, 50 yards of paracord 6 cans of beans, 2 bags of bread and a case of fosters... Funded purely by 7 months worth of reach arounds. The confidence you'll have in yourselves afterward will boost all three of you an even 5 each... lol.

Tinder could fix it's algorythm by simple matching like-popular people. Like if you get swiped on a lot, you should be matched with people who get swiped on proportionally (including an adjustment for the higher rate at which women get swiped on). But that would make them less money because people would use the app for less time, theoretically, because they'd be more likely to have good matches.

Okay lads, so a Pint in inner city Melbourne (Aus) around where I live goes for around $13 (£6.50) for a cheap house lager, but often up to $16 for a craft beer (£9.5). Its pretty brutal if you want to go out regularly.

Dota 100% is possible 1 handed. You just bind your abilities to extra mouse buttons. QWERDF etc are mouse button 3 4 5 6 7 8 etc. You can get A razor mouse with like 20 buttons on the side lol. You might be limited on some things, but your ability to aim and react would be good still.

Pyrion when talking about how 2000 pretty much started with 911 2000s is dealing with recently bias. Will the 1900s started off fairly well by the 1910s a world war which was the deadliest war in history, followed by the great depression, then another world war which saw the use of nuclear weapons. But he has rose tented glasses on because he was small child and young lad in the last few decades of 1900s where all the various wars such as Kosovo, gulf war the first happen, Falkland, and various other small war US was in. Since he was young he did not pay attention to them and the stuff that happen in the early part is not really on his mind because he did not experience it.

My tip for tinder, is have a good bio that is honest, have some decent pictures, and just be pickier. I swipe right on maybe 2-5% of women, and I get a match probably half of the time. Don't be desperate, be realistic and honest.

@JurijsPastnieks
@JurijsPastnieks 9 ай бұрын
Because it is true, unless you are top 10% of men you are out of luck. Reason for the statistics, I think, is because you are trying to mix 10(fem):1(male). For an average man answer is to wait for a desperate woman and for an average woman it is to lower standards.
@Anna13Tonks
@Anna13Tonks 8 ай бұрын
@JurijsPastnieks people keep saying that but I see plenty of "average men" getting tinder dates and relationships. I've had 2 relationships, and the first one was below average... So there must be something else going on
@JurijsPastnieks
@JurijsPastnieks 8 ай бұрын
@@Anna13Tonks Depends on the definition of average in this case it is statistical average and that is to say such a person does not exist it is just a model. Saying "I have seen" has two problems, how many average people do you know is it enough to gather statistics and in this case it is your perception of average which is subjective. Again 2 does not make a statistic. Using bottom up approach to get a good look at the overall situation is not practical or even possible. You a correct that there are cases that go outside of the statistical average situations. In more realistic model set of all people is a distribution most people will be close to the middle and there will be exponentially less towards the edges. There is a lot going on if you go into the details, that 2 sentences on youtube cannot cover. If females only picked only top 10% which they appear to do on average the statistic that supports that is that 5% to 20% percent of males get 80% of females. If they both had desire to form relationships they would and then it would move to next 10%, but that is not what happens. It would mean that top 10% of men are male street walkers that don't even ask money for it. So trying to mix 10:1 means that that is also an equilibrium. But people can adapt and learn however it appears to be a slow process. I base this on statistics I have heard here or there not studied in detail so I could be wrong. Also you have to consider overall motivation for making relationships, and ability to do so and look how it changes over time, and that would be a lot of work. Social sciences should be taught maths and statistics. Emotional reference frame is not a complete substitute to the objectivity.

Re Dating Apps. You can't compare yourself to Lewis, cause he is both very affluent and has led a very exciting life. I'm not saying his profile says "Hey ladies KZbinr millionaire here", but rather he has a bank of interesting stories and awesome pictures from special events and trips he's taken. This inherently allows him to build a unique profile that catches the viewers attention. Also Lewis has revamped his look over the last few years. He's in good shape, has a cool haircut, and got LASEK so stopped wearing his old nerd specs from the early days. So overall he should expect to do well as his authentic self on dating apps. In short, if you focus on improving yourself and growing as a person, and carry that into your profile, you should find your matches improving (or just become a bi-phillipino idk).

Fun Fact. In the Old West they actually fought lions and bears. Bears won every time. Lions don't have very strong skulls. One swipe from a bear would crush the skull of a lion. Lions are kind of glass canons and aren't particularly durable.

Lewis dude, tigers are solitary ambush predators. Lions live in prides and males fight each other all day every day from birth. A lion has far more experience fighting other large cats one on one and would demolish a tiger, despite tigers being bigger.

I would also swear off Africa. I'm a filthy westerner who bought into western imperial ideas that Africa is just must worse and more dangerous than other continents. I'd rather go to Russia today than a place like Kenya. I'm certain that's an unfair stereotype but I don't feel comfortable with the level of security and civil rights in the middle east and Africa. I'm sure it's more free though, and I imagine some of the things you can see there is out of this world. EDIT: To be fair I also just listened to the Hat Chat podcast episode where I think it was Trott mentions he's been to Kenya and he was literally detained by their police and threatened with prison time if they didn't pay them off. Not my kind of place.
