If they do a soap opera piss take with a mass murder as SIPs, I vote that the victim is always Ben, but he comes back each season as a more and more ridiculously obscure family member that has one sinlge difference (wig, eye patch, top hat etc).

Working in customer service support for a company, you have to ask the stupid questions. People will get insulted like "you think I haven't tried that??" Then we go through it while I'm on the call and it works. No matter how smart the person is, they can forget to try the simple options or accidentally do it incorrectly. I understand that some people believe they're infallible so I just tell people "I bet you did it correctly but we have a checklist that I MUST go through with you so we're gonna have to try it again". The amount of times the solution was solved with the simple answer is actually the vast majority so I will never agree with pflax on this one lol. (It's different when chat is telling you though lol)

Made me sad to hear Pyrion didn't enjoy System Shock remake, but it does make sense if he was looking for a new experience. It released before my time and i never played the original, but i think there is space for a faithful remake to exist. Especially since System Shock was so influential, i'm personally happy they took the approach they did.

And just because something is new doesn’t mean it was designed better. Bauldur’s Gate 3 is so successful because it captures the design philosophies of older RPG’s. Like Divinity Original Sin did before it. Games have definitely improved in some places but have devolved in other places.

I enjoyed the demo they put out a long while before release, but when I bough the full game I was disappointed that nothing had been changed, fixed, or improved at all in the starting zone. The first wire puzzle even broke completely on me, and couldn't be solved. So that just kind of soured the whole experience for me.

It'd definitely good but I also wish they maybe modernified it a bit more. Like with quest markers and all that. I hate having to go look up shit to figure out where to go in the maze of a game.

As someone playing wow classic sod having never played wow before it is just a really fun experience and a lot of the "qol" changes that make the modern game more accessible really detract from the feeling of being in a living world where it is fun to interact with other players.

19:10 my favourite tv detective has to be Vera Stanhope (from Vera). A middle aged women with a bit of sass adds some interesting entertainment to the murder mystery aspect. I do much prefer animated content over live action, but Vera is a crime drama show I'd recommend.

I don't think Hogwarts Legacy was a troll pick for best game on Steam Deck. It was the top game on Steam Deck in both February and March, and stayed in the top 10 games for most of the year

System Shock is a fine remake. It has amazing HDR support and is true to its roots. Sure, the inventory management sucks, but without the tetris like shuffling things around etc. it wouldn't be the same game.

The Aussie Traitors was more enjoyable than the UK version. The UK version also had other countries to base off as it wasn’t first so I was surprised how bad it was.
