Regarding what Ben said about there not always being a traitor but the round just ends instantly if that happens: you should absolutely play a round of TTT where there aren't any traitors, just innocents (and survivalist, jester, detective, etc.), but all of the innocents (everyone) are operating under the assumption that it's just a normal round, so there will be traitors (which there won't be). Be interesting to see how people behave when they believe one amongst them is a traitor, even though none of them truly are.

You'd have to somehow change the game rules to not require traitors be in a match for the match to continue BUT have normal rounds end once the traitors are all dead. Also the only way for this round to end would be a time out or the last survivor kills them self but then the game would go into a draw and lock up since no one would have won.
