It's perfectly fine to have an awkward hello and selfie/autograph! The problem is sticking around, stalking, and blocking the other members of the Yogscast from being in the stream.
@dannymicheel5315 жыл бұрын
I get what you mean, same with me. I actually did not even watch the vid - because I heard enough to know I probably couldn't handle the cringe fest. I am just in the comment section, to reasure that's better for me not to watch ... what is a shame. :/

Honestly most of them were fine it was just that ONE GUY who wouldn't stop with the comments.... always had something cringey to say whenever any of the yogscast spoke.... like dude their not even talking to you.

Pro tip for fans: If Lewis or the other Yogs greet you, then say "hello" and have a little chat and perhaps grab a selfie with them. Then, when they move on, you can also move on to the rest of your life as well. DON'T follow them around everywhere. Remember, they don't know who the hell you are. Imagine you're waiting for a train at the train station and some random starts talking to you. Okay, "hello". Just an over-friendly person trying to fill the boredom gap as we all wait for the train. But then, for the rest of the day, this person follows you everywhere. Won't stop talking to you. Won't go away. You try a polite "okay, goodbye, I've got to be going now" but, no, they just keep going everywhere you're going. At what point do you do what Bouphe and Leo did, and run back early to Yogtowers for safety? So they can actually lock you out of the building and, finally, you might just fuck off and leave them alone. Seriously, in any other context, you'd get the police called on your arse for this behaviour. Because, you know, stalking is actually a criminal offence - I know you're not intending harm or to creep anyone out, but you are technically engaging in anti-social behaviour that there are actually laws against. Use your brain and imagine how you'd feel about randoms doing this shit to you, yeah? Please appreciate this and don't do it again, you morons.

55:03 Actually, Lewis, you're perfectly allowed to film or photograph in public areas. You've got to watch these "jobsworths" who try to suggest otherwise, and try to guilt you into putting your camera down because they don't want their stall / market to have a bad review on Trip Advisor or whatever, but - under UK law - public spaces are public spaces. It's all a-okay by the law to do what you're doing. (I did some audio work for a small films company years back - carrying around boom mics and recording the actors - and our director was wise to this bullshit, so she printed off the relevant law and all the crew had a copy of it in our coat pockets. So if anyone tried that bullshit, we could see them off with the actual letter of the law. Although, you can tell that this guy actually knows what's what too - as they all do, when you push them - because the second Lewis pushes to the front and speaks with confidence, he quickly retreats and doesn't want to be on camera. Because you have, in fact, just broadcast him trying to intimidate you live on the Internet, and he knows that he actually has zero right to do that and backs off fast. Private spaces are different - and people can tell you to stop if you're in their establishment. But public spaces are fair game for filming and photography. My guess is that, as you're filming next to pop up food stalls, the worry they've got is that you might, you know, unintentionally "obtain evidence" for the food standards people of something less than hygienic going on. It's not you who's doing wrong, but them being deeply worried that you might unintentionally catch them on film doing something wrong. To be fair, you can appreciate why. They're serving food on a street. If someone drops a churro on the floor, say, and a local rat tries to grab it, and you capture that in a nice photograph, which also has the food stall in shot, that ends up online... that's the kind of thing they're worried about, you see. An accidental shot that completely ruins their trade. You can understand why they might be concerned and it's not unreasonable for them to have such worries - but, still, they have zero legal right to intimidate you into stopping and just by asserting yourself there, Lewis, and hearing the word "live", so it's already on the Internet and "you can't stop the signal"... well, just watch how fast he backed down and ran away. And when the camera swung round towards him, he backed out of shot fast, so you never got his face on camera. The dude knows he has no right to intimidate you. But he was just trying it on anyway.)

Yes, there were a few obnoxious fans, and yes they hung around the Yogs like rats on a trash pile (which is never something you should do), but this stream still shows off the Christmas cheer and holiday spirit that the one of the previous year did. Even if it did get lessened from those negatives. The snowman photographs, Ravs and the legal tender that are Scottish notes, "the sex shop" along with the other stalls that were briefly visited. Maybe it's just me viewing it in a more positive light after the year we've endured, but there are some great moments and interactions that came from this stream.
