How can this natural born comedian write such heart gripping stories
@Cyon2012
@Cyon2012 Жыл бұрын
Humour can also be used to cover up that you are actually depressed and hurting inside. A last ditch effort to fight it even. I know that from my grandfather who was super funny. It can be a mask of sorts. Since then I look at every too funny person twice. I don't think he is a natural born comedian but yet another person not having had an easy live. The actual mask he puts on additionally and his low self-esteem practically give it away. That's why he can write such deep stories! Hmmm that got longer than I wanted it to be. Anyway that's my take on it.

it's funny because Yoko just patch his scar instead of getting a new head. I really like the sense of humour of this Japanese directors. my wish is to have Yoko Taro and Hideo Kojima collab in a game.

I love how it looks like he added the scar to his mask to make it look cool, but he actually just dropped it and broke it, and instead of replacing it he just made it look like a newly added scar and called it a day.

It's interesting how Yoko Taro seems to have extreme self-esteem issues. You can see that from this interview, and I remember I saw an interview where he said that he doesn't think Nier Replicant will sell very well because Automata was a fluke. So sad! Also, if you've played Automata and haven't played the original Nier or the Replicant remake, seriously consider doing it!

Nier brings forth a sort of nostalgia i can't really find a source to, it feels so familiar, the music, the world and the characters in it feel so real and the fantasy elements give me more nostalgia than final fantasy, or any other fantasy game. The simple joy of exploring the vast yet vibrant world, finding small things, the simple yet beautiful combat that never gets old, but represents the constant grind of a fantasy game, and the constant mortal risk you are really in, i only play automata, because replicant is hard to find, nier feels like the first fantasy game I've ever played, like it's always been there in my heart. The personal feelings of the characters, the raw emotion that you experience seeing characters around you trying so hard to live their lives and achieve happiness, or destroy themselves realizing there is no hope. The game fills me with peace, but also hurts to experience the sacrifices made.

When translating language live you have to think quickly what make sense when translated into language b. Language a may have different sentence structure to language b. Language a might have a word that isn't translatable into language b. There many more but erm is fine they couldn't just retake the performance again and again as it was live.
