Two weeks later, a friend caught a guy throwing our equipment onto the site, and he admitted on camera that the client asked him to do it. Its been 6 months now and no arrest. We do have a case but haven't heard anything from the court and the detective seems dodgy with rumours that he takes bribes.

This is totally shocking 😳 my wife wanted to do a water birth using a midwife at home , thankfully her gynecologist spoke her out of it and our baby was born in a private hospital , thank goodness beside a mid wife her gynecologist did the procedure without problems!!

Please don't think all births by midwife's are like this. I had a two natural births. Outside of hospitals. My last birth was a breech birth and with no complications. Just because this woman is bad doesn't mean all non hospitals births and midwife's are. In fact more babies die in hospitals than under midwife's. Please do your research.

This is why expecting parents should only go to professional Sonographers who are trained and certified by the HPCSA to conduct diagnostic fetal imaging. There are many ultrasound businesses advertising 4d imaging for "pretty" scans. Diagnostic ultrasound imaging is more than just pretty pictures. I had a mid wife birth with my first child. It's overrated and risky. My child's heart rate dropped. Another mid wife was called and pushed down my tummy to get my child out cause I was exhausted from pushing. Mid wife didn't initiate an emergency c section even after I suggested one. I sought a gynea for my second pregnancy. The experience was much much much better. A natural birth as well. I always say, don't get caught in the trend of the day when it comes to child birth. I couldn't walk for two weeks (unless I had strong pain killers) and nobody could give me an explanation. Guys, let's be very careful

After the original investigation was there no criminal charges? All that happened is she was "shamed" by Carte Blanche and stripped of her nursing licence. Then you state at the end what she is doing is criminal. Yet no charges laid against her from the start. Is SA still not charging criminals?

I must say carte blanche, you could have handled the sting operation better. At this point this should have had the police fraud unit involved and she could have been arrested then and there. SANC are nurse/midwife watchdogs, but the police can do more. She's on the run now. Has it been handed over?
