We all love fighting games, but how many of you also enjoy card games?

Loved Hearthstone and Shadowverse, but CCGs just end up feeling like an endless grind to build meta decks. The amount of RNG is also a big turn off.

I enjoy many card games! Shame Jasco games has been so focused on My Hero Academia for the past 3 or 4 years now; UniVersus, formerly the Universal Fighting System, started off licensing sets for a number of fighting games to include Street Fighter and Soul Calibur.

Shoutouts to Mr. Sirlin for helping me understand what it means to be a Scrub, and coming to terms with that.

Pretty neat game, it's actually impressive how they managed to make it feel like a fighting game

So either I am stupid or did you literally not explain how this game is played!?

So Fantasy Strike is dead, now its legacy is a card game

Sorry this is not correct. Yomi existed long before FS was even a twinkle in anyone's eye. This is a follow up (and a great one) to one of Sirlin Games' longest running and most successful products. Hard to blame them when they have been quite open about the fact that FS never made enough money to sustain development, even before going FTP. The good news is that if you loved FS you should absolutely give Yomi 2 a try. All the same design goals and philosophy that made FS great carry over to Yomi 2. And you still get to play as a fish!
