I saw a lot of bad comments about him saying his stringing is not good and all this. I have already given him my rackets strung by him twice. And it was very good that's why he is a Yonex Master Stringer. You guys don't have to complain bad comments about his stringing it's just because you all don't know how to use his stringing style....

Pulled the first two mains but doesn't repull, GG tension.
@derrickng40177 жыл бұрын
It's funny to see so many people comment on the tiny things that contribute little to the actual playability of the strings. Fraying the string's outer layer at a non contact point does not affect the strings performance whatsoever. I tested this myself. Unless you can prove something affects the string's playability, shut up. I used to single pull everyone's racket i've ever strung 3 years ago. I then decided to do some research and ask people their opinion on a few of the same rackets all with different stringing styles. I let them try 6, 1. Single pulled even tension, 2. single pulled progressive tension, and 3. single pulled 2 lb difference, 4. double pulled even tension, 5. double pulled progressive tension, and 6. double pulled 2 lb difference. Here is the ranking from best to worst: 5, 4, 1, 2, 3, 6 I surveyed exactly 37 people and the ranking is based on popularity. Edit: Double pulled the mains only So people, don't bash someone's style or process if you can't prove anything.

Prestring almost every horizontal string ? In the tournament, he is not allowed to do this, but in the store, speed means money.

Really? There's a rule for this? There's. A few error he did but he is crazy fast and the job should be ok for most people
@andromeda22092 жыл бұрын
nothing wrong about how he string the racket...prestring the string acceptable as long he started pull the string from the middle
@BattleRoyaleClub10 жыл бұрын
imho, i will not really wanna use him. my reason is, the speed and force that he used might already cause friction and slightly damage the outer layer of the string even before i play it. obviously i do not want to change string every 2 weeks or so. i don't mind to wait longer.
@robinfrienly12718 жыл бұрын
This is just for recording purpose. And no, he dont usually string like this. FYI,that is my racket, and the string stays till his normal age..
@driveslowly6 жыл бұрын
At 0:33 he forgot to lock the base... Bad job. The two first tension together... Result half tension. He is fast but bad job. He prefer to take the time to play guitar with the string instead of doing the right thing.

This guy is literally sponsored by Yonex. He is Master Halim. He knows how to fucking string a badminton racquet. He is stringing as quickly as possible here. Speed over accuracy is the aim of the game for this stringing technique. It is still somewhat accurate. Not perfect, but useable. Stop acting like you're Mr Yoneyama. There are many different ways of stringing. So, nothing is wrong of what he is doing. European style (start from the middle) and pull one by one, and from side to side. The Asian style (pre-waave), then pull.
@ax00001.5 жыл бұрын
not every asian did like that okay?im starting from the middle, and only pre-wave the main strings

Would hate to get my racket strung by this guy. There must be so much tension inconsistency by clamping the strings before it can fully pre-stretch and not locking the swivel base when tensioning. Flash over quality I guess :/

@chaitanyakumarsamardhi21768 жыл бұрын
Dan Sai you are so right. Other people who comment here have no clue. I don't know if he is a "yonex master stronger" but certainly he has too many flaws. He is using a starting know to tie off the mains and crosses. This knot will not remove slack in the string. His stringing will not give a consistent string bed tension. As per yonex this not even the right method to string a racquet.

bro its not abt put up or shut up here... Theres a "code of conduct" that authorised stringers adhere to. Given his expertise, woudnt it be better to show the proper way of stringing? Doing this does this reflect a pride of a "professional" stringer? Doing "industrial weaving and time attack" isnt something most average joes in retail shop also can do? Most stringer who want to do the right thing often get shun at because they're not players, its no different as long as its done quick. I honestly believe the stringer have gone through the pain of taking test to qualify as a "yonex stringer". Why throw it away? Hope you understand where im coming from. Cheers

This aint master stringer. First of all theres a lot of friction burn going on the stringing process. 2nd the hook is damaging the cosmetic of the frame. 3rd the double pull tension at the edge main had already been tension loss. 4th the tie off last cross string at the 10 o'clock postion shoudnt be there. 5th the way he clamp the string is use by force and that could result to string snap. 6th after stringing not even a single alignment has been done. Very very poor stringing service. Its not how fast you can string but its how the quality that you can preserve and offer. #USRSA certified stringer here.
