Yongnuo RF603C ii Wireless Flash Trigger Demo with Sony A7ii

Hi Nathan, thanks for the video. I can do something like this with my Sony and Minolta flashes, but everything has to be in the line of sight of the trigger flash mounted on the camera. Does the Yongnuo system eliminate the problem I'm having?

I had the same triggers but it did not work because the center pin of the transitter did not reach the center pin of the on-camera hot shoe (it's not central on A7ii, so the RF603 did not contact it), so how did you manage to overcome this, did you can any front part of the trigger?

I have a problem using the triggers on the sony a6000 the flash works on the camera, but when i put on the triggers it don't.. The flash fires when i press the buttons on the triggers when it is on the camera but not when i use the camerabutton.. Any idea?

As long as the pins are making contact it should work. I've only tested with a Canon flash and a Yongnuo flash. Both work great.

did you remove paint from the contacts? or maybe you have a flash with sony mi shoe right? center pin of the sony mi shoe flash is not aligned with center pin of the canon/nikon shoe. not elegant solution is to use thin strip of aluminium foil and slide in flash to the shoe with this strip in the center. but do not short circuit center pin with the edges because it will trigger the flash. currently i could not find canon camera to sony mi flash adapter anywhere ...

they work. I shoot exclusively sony. Buy the canon version. You just have to play around with the position of the on camera transmitter a little.
