Yeah I have the milled 100 plate and a friend has the whole milled kg set and I agree with the rumor about cracked 2.5 lbers as I had a milled one with a hairline crack

Why does it being milled matter compared to other plates, what’s the benefit if any? My plates are just regular cast iron

The purpose was to bring the weights into tolerance (make them accurate weight), but many people also appreciate how cool it looks.
