my father was one of the divers who found the Clan Ranald Anchor. It was on the cliff pointing to the ship wreck for many years. It was removed and taken to Adelaide for restoration and then finally returned to Yorkes where it was decided to put it in Edithburgh near the museum. Great to see it on your channel. My father's legacy still brings me so much pride.

That's Amazing. So glad to hear info like that We did see it in Edithburgh Such a beautiful & rugged coast Really enjoyed the Yorke Peninsula. In fact we were supposed to go across to the Eyre but spent so long on the Yorke we ran out of time 😂 Thanks for your comments Really appreciate & your connection to the place Cheers Paul & Michelle

@@pmk3australia Thanks for your reply. It is a beautiful place. I grew up in Yorketown and my mum is still there. Sadly my dad passed away 6 months ago but as I said he has left a wonderul legacy for all his family. I am glad you got to visit such a beautiful part of Australia.

Great video, loads of really interesting sights. Really liked the painted water tanks, the sea shots and the pink lake. You were really lucky with the drone!

Hi Paul & Michelle Another great video. Glad you avoided another Mary Kathleen incident with the drone! 😀 The cakey things look interesting. Will have to give my navigator a hint. We are planning a trip to south west WA in Feb / Mar with a stop over on the Yorke Peninsula on the return leg, so your videos will be a great reference. Hopefully the wind will be kind to us. Looking forward to the next episode. Stay safe. Cheers Peter & Annette

Thanks Ron, Always good to hear from you. It's a bit of a different trip for us but full of surprises. We're now on the west side of the peninsula & it's very different from the east. So I have heaps of new footage to edit through. We have some great images coming soon. Take Care & Hope you can get out there soon. Cheers, Paul & Michelle

Thanks for this great video on this area, we did do Point Turton few months back and had a quick drive over to Edithburgh and surrounds and should of stayed there. We found this really helpful as we are head to do that coast early next year. First time to your channel Cheers.
