Being an oldie and definitely not a techy I wish I’d seen this before I attempted setting it up. There’s so much you clarified but which at the time totally baffled me. For me screen 2 is the most interesting as I’m still shooting air rifles - sub 12 and FAC and I find the down range energy of different pellets at different distances fascinating. As you say - setting up is the key and the “interference” and “signal strength” indicators can’t be ignored.

Great Video. I have had the Lab Radar, the Magnito Speed and the Bullet Seeker. This is the easiest to set up, the most accurate and less finicky. The only one I kept was the Magnito Speed (for backup). I usually have 3-4 hours range time and never had to worry about battery going dead (usually it's still at 80% charged). There is a hinge for upward and downward adjustments. Perform the firmware update, as the new triggering logic is significantly improved. 👍

I dont have any triggering issues so if it aint broke, I'm not messing with it.

Good video thanks Chris. Just received mine. No need to prop base for up and down angle, it has an adjustable hinge at the mount point.

Nowadays with good modern bullets going transonic or subsonic is pretty much a nofactor. In 308 especually the 175 grain vld/scenar-l work good. Ive shot a mile with them going roughly 800ms and all of the hits are perfectly round. Basically heavy bullets with relatively short boat tails work good. 168 grain class bullets suffer very badly, especially the smk and is probably one of the main reasons people say a 308 is an 800m gun. They are very accurate but tumble once they go transonic

Great video but no mention of other type of projectiles. I am into Black Powder. How about the issue of the mess coming out of the muzzle, smoke front, particles of wax and dirt, and mostly the patch in round ball shooting. I would have liked also a description of the PRINCIPLE on which the device works. I understand the doppler effect on ambulances and police cars when the pitch decreases after the passing point. Ir this device works on a radar signal being reflected on the traveling bullet then I don't see the relation with doppler. I have still no idea about price. OK i will do my research. No worries (from Australia) have a great day

I have one coming hopefully next week. Im hoping it will replace my Labradar. I had high hopes for my speed seeker - its good to but its also very finicky to set up and i trust the Labradar more on velocities.

I just received. Got it from Pyramid Air. Getting it to the range this weekend and will comment back. User interface and app seem great. Form factor as well.

How many bullets do I need to fire to get the correct bc? Because the BC of 5 rounds and 10 rounds is different

Have you tested the tracking to 300m? Labradar outputs a signal noise reading to determine the where the range data becomes useless, does this do the same? Wondering how real the 300m number is because 300m is an accomplishment.

I found mine to be a nightmare. Tried everything. Screen would flash picking up something - but no reading. Tried every position etc. Shooting sub12 .177 - just doesnt like it. Get a reading maybe one in every 8 shots.

It looks epic. I seem to remember they cut the range of the LabRadar for the UK for some odd legislative issue. But maybe they're running on a different band or something? Thanks for such a comprehensive review.

Its $1000 in US. No way in hell I'm going to buy this one when the Labrader is half that price and does the same thing.
